Lol. Thanks for providing another video in my “OP halo waypoint strats”
XD
Honestly though, y’all need to play more high levels and realize that most things you call OP are fine and you need to just get better to know how to counter.
A Scarab that is supported by an army and at no point fights an army of equal size…
How does that make it OP?
We can make this a constructive thread. I totally get where people develop the impression that the Scarab is overpowered. They’re usually covered by regen/cloaking units that make them an utter pain. I’ve been trying to figure out the most effective way to neutralize this combo. I’ve tried targeting the healer units. Wolverines are somewhat effective, but they are fast and hard to target individually. They also have a knack for healing each other fast than I can take them out. What is the best way to do this? Is there a technique that does not involve me frantically clicking at the little bugs as they evade my cursor (I am playing on console and this is hard for me to do)?
Scarab with cloak and Engineers? Counter? Just attack the enemy Base with kinsano…
Says Scarab is OP then shows a Scarab supported by an army destroying completely undefended bases. Much proof.

I assume your playing against other people. My best advice is to spam your leader powers while taking it on with anti vehicle units. It’s best to support your army with healing units as well. The other alternative is to use your own super unit against it and with your remaining forces attack their base. Although non of these are fool proof and you may need to adapt them.

This video is misleading for a start there is hardly any resistance to your army and second the video is slightly sped up to provide the illusion that Scarabs are OP.
How many of you guys play 3’s because almost every game I play in 3’s are decided by Atriox + 2 scrab’s 13 engi’s.
The strat is bonkers right now and he can literally 1v3 the game. Bubble shield + engi shield is insane and pretty much every army comp can’t beat it. Maybe this will change here come the 24th but as of now its the sure fire strat.

I agree I hardly ever play 3v3 dude I mostly play 2v2
I feel that both teams didn’t play the game effectively. First the game shouldn’t have gone to 21 minutes if you had no resistance. Second the Locust did more work to the bases than the Scarab did. I can understand a casual game ending like this but if you are playing ranked, this is far from what a high level ranked game would end up like.
This is why top 5 percent are the only ones that should be able to talk about balancing scarabs are no where near op and in no world can 2 scarabs wipe out 3 army’s even with atriox
To be fair, Scarabs are a super unit that cost 2000 resources and 2000 power with 40 upkeep. You cant necessarily expect it to be a cake walk to deal with but by no means is it overpowered.
The video evidence you provided was hardly proof that the “Scarab” was doing anything special. You had almost no resistance when taking out the bases as well as you had a army supporting your Scarab. I fail to see the point in the video where it was overpowered.
Engineers need a health nerf like seriously.
It is OP

When you learn to counter them they are not op just annoying.
Whenever I’m losing a game, I just create 2 scarabs a few engineers and shrouds and then I win. I agree it’s pretty damn OP. I’ve won a 2v3 scenario with this strat. The shrouds cloaking it and engineers healing it and the scarabs invulnerable shield AND Atriox’s unstoppable and Atriox’s bulwark abilities make the scarabs literaly invincible.
