I was wondering about the design of both scarabs. Is the V1/h2 scarab a lekgolo colony like its V2/h3 counterpart, and does the V2/h3 scarab feature conventional controls that control its lekgolo?
At the current moment, it is confirmed the Halo 2 Scarab is completely Mechanical and primarily for Mining purposes, while the Halo 3 Scarab is Lekgolo driven and is meant for Combat.
it is theorized that when truth reached earth, he had no idea he’d actually reach humankind’s home planet.
his fleet wasn’t an actual warfleet, so the theory says that since he wasn’t ready for war, this scarab is just a giant mining station and not a war scarab like in H3.
so it might also work differently and have conventional controls (which explain how Johnson drove it at the end of the campaign of halo 2!)
It was Regret’s fleet that was mining, exploration one. With V2 Scarabs, Truth’s fleet was an invasion fleet with V3s
