Could you imagine a level big enough to hold a scarab?! Obviously one REQ card couldn’t pull it up, but maybe if a minimum of 5 players on a team had to use it to be able to call it in!
Or even better an assault type game where one team controls a scarab and another has to defend against a base or area before the scarab destroys everything.
That would be one heck of a req to call in! ! As long as they can only be destroyed on the inside otherwise they would get blown up fast! ! I do miss that in the campaigns
I very vaguely remember someone from 343 saying we would see enemies bigger than Scarabs in Warzone. Before launch, I thought we’d actually be fighting Guardians in it.
I can’t remember where I saw it and I don’t have the source but I’m positive I had seen/heard it from a blog post or something.
Maybe they meant the Kraken and I thought I was reading about Warzone?
I would say, that if 343 put a Scarab into Warzone requisition play. That would be an amazing thing, if they had the map big enough to contain the vehicle. All around the Scarab is a mobile command base, similar to the Elephant in Halo 3, or the Mammoth in Halo 4/5. The Scarab is an all-terrain vehicle, meaning that you should be able to use it all around the map, except the air. That’s the Kraken’s job! I could think of an assault mission where one team could consist of Sangheili [Normally Red team], and Blue team [Spartans of course]! Would go and attempt to take down the mobile command base [The Scarab] In such an assault mission, I could think of the UNSC team using vehicles similar to either the Falcon, or the Hornet, to gain air dominance, as the Covenant team would have Banshees and perhaps even Seraphs even. Land vehicles such as the Wraith and Scorpion would be relatively common on the ground. Base defense would be relatively simple, UNSC Spartan teams would go against it in vehicles, [Red and Blue team]. Both teams would attempt to take down the Scarab, or even have to work together to take it down. Or perhaps even have one Scarab per base to defeat, gaining access would be appropriately tough, with their weak points being their legs such as in Halo 3. A Scorpion tank would be able to fire at it’s legs. But with Warzone difficulty, it may take a while to dull it down to boarding weakness.

Awesome idea. Keeping with canon they could say that the Arbiter forces and UNSC are practicing “War Games” simulation.

THIS WOULD BE AMAZING!!!
We have to find a way to let 343i know about this idea.
