I read we can now get Mission completion achievements with these skulls on for Halo 2 (and bandana for Halo 1).

Can anyone confirm?

Just trying in coop now and Cairo Station didn’t unlock!!!

0 point skulls lock out almost if not all achievement.

! Since 12-22-2014, you can get the Level and the Legendary Achievements, with the 0.00 x Skulls in Halo2 !
After finishing 1 or more missions, you will have to go back to the mission select Screen of H2, then the Achievements pop up…over at xbox360achievements.org and trueachievements.com, most people think, that This will be fixed with the next Update, so hurry!

ugh… why do them at all then?

i can only see two reasons for doing this before its fixed:

    • so u can have all the achievements… which if ur doing it like this i srsly doubt ur gonna get any of the matchmade achievements (if u can get a game)
      and
    • bragging rights, which, usually requires ppl as obsessed with achievements as you in order to brag to, which also means they will know about this gap of noobmode achievements making them pointless?

meh each to there own i guess, enjoy beating the game on ‘legendary’

also… your even doing it on Coop and cant beat it?.. lol wow

You are able to get the skulls and dolls achievements along with the silly ones like rex and finding that dude in the towel.

With the zero score skulls you can find any collectible and get any mission specific achievement. Any achievements that have to do with score or time will be void.

I did a legendary run of halo 2 (my last legendary campaign needed) with the scarab skull on and got all the skulls, dolls, taking missions on foot (no vehicle) and completing all missions and campaigns on legendary.

I received no points for every mission and the time on each mission is 1:40:39 on each mission

I have done halo 1 and 2 with bandana envy and scarab gun skull and got the achievements. Mainly just to speed things up.
it only affects par score and par time achievements.
