I think it would be really cool in the future for halo games if we could operate a scarab in one mission. I think it would also be really fun if they had a multiplayer mode where 3 people spawn on a scarab and 3 people spawn on the ground and they have to work together to take down the enemy teams scarab using the weapons given to them but also make different kinds of scarab models so a little diversity would be more fun what do you guys think?
Yes yes yes that would be so cool.
For Campaign, yes. In fact, I believe Bungie was gonna have a Scarab-operating mission in Reach, but it was cut.
That would have been a really fun opportunity in reach
it would have been, but the controls was 2 clitchy
I really hope they don’t do this.
Drivable Scarabs for the win!
Only if I can ram it with an Elephant.
The maps for a Operable Scarab will have to be massive and there has to be a way to fail in a campaign mission or be taken down by an assault force from enemy units in matchmaking. Possibly in Halo 5: Guardians could be done but not in the HMCC.
If they would make the Scarab Tank operable. I would be so happy.

Multiplayer solution: just do what Star Wars Battlefront 2 did with AT-AT’s. The ideas we have about Halo do tend to have parallels in other franchises and a bit of creative nicking might pay huge dividends if 343 also takes the view that “the genre is there and its influences should not be shunned” (in fact that’s how creative work tends to magnify).
Oh yeah that would be great
Invasion with mobile Scarabs as the bases xD
