How come you can only ‘scan’ things for information with Kinect? I think a way should be added of Scanning with your controller (there mustt be an unused button!)
unfortunantly there is no other button and the kinect is the only thing

Guys they have the whole d-pad that is empty, they made it kinect exclusive just to push more to buy kinect, no other reason.

yeah true i know battlefield uses them and i think gears… i don’t really play gears though!
They want people to buy kinect, maybe?
I made a montage of all 45 library items, scanning them in the game and their respective library entry.
So if you can’t purchase or borrow a Kinect you can see all that content by watching my montage.

What are you talking about? The D-Pad controls movement just like a joystick.

They should remove that cause that is just redundant. Halo reach uses the d-pad for night vision and you use the joystick for movement, they can do the same here.
They can probably use the d-pad but its too late now I suppose.
Don’t have Kinect?
Load up a level, pause the game, press UP once and then press A.
Congrats, your in the Kinect menu without having a Kinect.
Next step, buy a Kinect lol
(BTW this game is not worth buying a Kinect for!)
That trick won’t let you scan the items in the game though.
