This is an old video but man does this guy speak the truth.
Guys, we are witnessing the fall of Halo at the hands of 343.This YouTuber needs to calm down. He can go ahead and not pre order but it’s insignificant, just like the video itself.
For all we know, Microsoft could have rushed the deadline even though the game was/is faulty, not 343.

343 Industries may not have made the game, but they have their name all over it. That’s like being a project leader and putting the blame on your team. Regardless if the blame is on the team those who choose to step forward need to take responsibility. Why are people afraid to do this? Not saying I hate 343i because I don’t and I like TMCC and I will still be getting Halo 5. So to make things clear the blame does go to those in charge which would be both Microsoft and 343. Why because they allowed for release.

And 343 has been forward about accepting the blame, taking time to bring patches to fix the game and even offered compensation to early players. You won’t see Microsoft accept any heat they played as a publisher like every other publisher out there. Microsoft has been screwing with Halo’s development process since the beginning and now they have a dev they can dump all the blame on because they own them outright. This is not to say that 343 is blameless, but it isn’t exactly true to say 343 had a leadership role equal to that of Microsoft.
Bungie called them their benevolent dictators for a reason.
Guys you’re missing the point. They betrayed our trust and took advantage of us by knowingly releasing a broken game (that they knew) everyone would buy. That’s a little scummy in my opinion, whether the blame is accepted or not.
Dobbins is a good guy - a little intense sometimes, but a good guy. You should listen to what he has to say about CoD and Destiny, as well as Halo. A lot of it is just about the triple-A FPS in general so it applies across the board.
And to your second point: come back here on 10.28.15 and tell me again that we are witnessing the fall of Halo. Pre-orders or no pre-orders.
