I mean in the Spartan ops season 1 trailer we see the infinity smashing through what looks like to be a Covenant Carrier. These things are huge, and though I know the Infinity is big, it dwarfs the other Covenant ships, like I mean these Cruisers are not small, that are around 1km long, the Infinity is 5.6km long, the carrier is only about twice the size of a Cruiser, but in the video they are a massively different size. Oh and let’s not forget with all this talk about how huge the infinity is it is still not even close to the 17km Covenant super carrier, so what gives?
I just find it odd that the human ships went from being tiny when compared to the Covenants, to us smashing through theirs with the Infinity… I know about all the Forerunner tech but still.

It is 3 Miles long, and it has been stated as being more than capable of destroying anything the Covenant ever had even before they lost the war.

Probably thought they were unnecessary since there were no hostiles around.
Lets remember that there are two different kinds of cruisers. CSO and CAS. assuming that the cruiser was CAS then yeah the Infinity plowing right through that thing is just fine… also this isn’t really a matter of length it was a matter of width. And the Infinity is a faaat beast.

It did, but when a 5.7(arpx.) kilometer long ship crashed through you after exiting FTL speed you don’t really stand mich of a chance. Think of it in the way a Spartan can break though and kill another Spartan by punching them in the back, but on a much bigger scale.
