It tends to just be from the left side of the political polarisation. CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post and the New York Times spent 4 years doing it. It seems to have calmed down a little bit in 2021.

In Spain, these media are not even considered left-wing.

Then you will also know how the United States and the allies allowed Franco to remain in power with their dictatorship because it benefited them politically, right? We still have more than 2,500 mass graves throughout Spain of people who were shot and murdered by those fascists who carried out the coup. I find it incredible that they want to give me my lessons in the history of my own country. This reminds me of when an American denounces a cultural appropriation of X country, and when an inhabitant of that country comes to deny it, they are branded as ignorant.

Orders were given to bomb Japanese civilian targets with incendiary munitions, why was that? It’s because Japan suffered from earthquakes. The buildings were very light timber and paper. Starting fires would cause maximum damage, to the civilian population. Not to mention 2 nuclear bombs that didn’t need to be dropped. People don’t start wars, Governments do, unfortunately, to many people follow terrible instructions.

Hey, we used to believe a lot crazier stuff in the past. We’ve had our fair share of genocides. Countries have fought wars with each other and themselves. Humanity will endure. And there will always be good people. I know, that doesn’t make the division we’re feeling fun. It doesn’t lessen the struggles people face today. I just think there is still hope left for us humans.
