Scale Down Microtransactions and the Woke Campaign, Make Warzone A Paid Expansion Pack

Original Post: Click at your own discretion

Summary

My ideas for Warzone are in another thread. People need to realize the woke cult is a very vocal minority of people, many of whom suffer from mental illnesses, cognitive dissonance and other emotional issues. I made ideas for Warzone in another thread.

The Forge editor should be free.

Female Spartans should have feminine bodies like Halo 5. Go woke, go broke, it has happened before. No more uninteresting characters, the black female spartan is mediocre at best and needs a feminine body.

Wanting to change your biological gender is a mental illness. Halo is officially more woke than Star Wars in the realm of trash Star Trek Discovery. Too many non-White characters, changing the race of characters. The Halo TV show will be pure trash, worse than star trek discovery, even though discovery had many uninteresting boring characters, at least it had good plots.

This Warzone expansion should be like clas

sic PC gaming, where there is a server list in Custom games.

So… Nothing you said here is about warzone? I agree on not being keen with the new Spartan trainer character. She just doesn’t give off the aura of authority. I know I wouldn’t follow her into battle. And I agree on more feminine body types. I also agree with the blackwashing of characters in the show but this is the thread for Infinite, I’d go state that over in a related thread.
Forge is going to be free in season 3

#1. Stop watching Fox News
#2. If you think gender is a biological thing, then you don’t know what you’re talking about
#3. What does this have to do with Halo?

Something makes me think that if every Halo character was a white male, you wouldn’t say anything about it

I’m sorry but Warzone was just a bad game mode. Bringing in your own weapons/vehicles/powerups that you may or may not have paid for is just not the same as them being on the map, equally accessible to each team. Halo Infinite needs BTB Heavies, not Warzone

Halo 5 did it very successfully. Someone mentioned it might have something to do with the ‘hitbox’ area.

Summary

My wife and daughter have made the same comment. They like the way Halo 5 has the different spartan body types.
I was also at the premier of Star Wars in 1977. Here in Australia, I think it was September/October. We went to the Gosford Drive In ( NSW Australia), back when drive-ins still existed and was an instant fan . I kicked up such a stink that we went two nights in a row. The Disney trilogy finished me with Star Wars. I packed everything away. The only things still out are Han Solo as a stormtrooper and R2-D2, at either end of the entertainment unit. They stop our pet rabbit getting behind the unit and chewing on the cables.

1 So what, watch CNN and MSNBC instead ?
2 Gender is Male and Female. You don’t know what you are talking about. I will give you a very personal example. One of my daughters suffered from anorexia. In her mind, she was fat, even though she was skin and bone. We took her to a psychiatrist, who said it was a mental illness and that was how it was treated. I had to sit at the table, for two and a half hours, some nights, making her eat some food. It took three and a half years to get past this. My wife cried nearly every night. But, if my daughter, said she was male, that is not a mental problem? Is that your ‘scientific’ analysis? I will run with your logic. I am a cattle farmer. I am going to put 10 bulls into a paddock, designate 9 of them as heifers, then wait for the calves to be born.
3 Halo did a great job of representation with Halo 5, my daughter ( a female ) and my wife ( a female ) agree. Myself ( a male ) let them have their opinion.

Few things first: campgain isn’t out yet so can’t call anything on that second yiu high or something?

Just the other day I was in a match and realized that I wouldn’t really be able to tell if anyone would actually want to appear more feminine. While I do think that having the body types instead of the dimorphic male/female base is good (As through all the layers of armor there really shouldn’t be much to identify someone as male or female) they are all more or less just guys. It’s so hard to see the skinnier waist on the 1 body type, especially when the model is in motion, and I think they all share the same animations too.

There should be at least one more body type as an option, and give the “female” ones the proportional differences such as a shorter torso and longer legs.

My wife ( a female ) and my daughter ( a female ) totally agree with you.

The fu** does it matter if they’re white or black? Spartan lady is bland, her skin color has nothing to do with that and who the heck changed races I genuinely missed this.

I did the tutorial and thought,‘Wow, how much better than Palmer’. If you played the campaign in Halo 4, Palmer was a condescending jerk.

I hated Palmer too, but now this Spartan lady is too, nice? Soft? We’re talking Spartans, walking tanks that literally turned the tide of a war and she’s just so, mellow, I don’t mind motivational, but she needs to really raise her voice or something, I guess she just shattered my image of what I expect from most Spartans, maybe I just need time.

What about Jorge, or Chief? Stoicism and lack of emotion is the mark of an entire spartan class.

Yes, you do make a good point. Drill Sergeant ( Full Metal Jacket style ) would probably be more realistic. Just definitely not condescending jerk.

I got the feel that Agryna is a fish out of water in a way. She was just a trainer at the academy and now she’s one of the only higher ranking Spartans left.

You have to remember that Spartan IVs aren’t going into boot camp, the majority of them are seasoned veterans of their own right. They know how to follow orders and what the military is like, there’s no need to break them down like in basic.

They have emotion, even if it’s mellow or hidden, and you had time to build up with Jorge and learn about him.

But Miss motivational over here feels very, shallow, like enthusiastic and attempted inspiration but she doesn’t do either of those well, “Are you ready Spartans?” “I can’t hear you”, like, listening to her deliver those lines felt weaker than they should have.

All Jorge needed to say was “Tell’em to make it count” and people were in tears even if it didn’t have much energy in it but the delivery was perfect, something the new blood needs to work on.

That’s a fair point I forgot about, hopefully she’ll grow on me.

Not necessarily, those networks have their own problems and I also need to point out that if you somehow think CNN and MSNBC are the left’s equivalent of Fox News, then you are spectacularly wrong. Those networks are center-right at best.

The point here is that the transphobic opinions you are spouting here can only be held by someone who is looking exclusively at a certain media landscape, and not listening to actual physicians and experts.

This is the fundamental reason for the intense polarization in today’s political climate: people are not looking at the same reality anymore. You said you were at the premiere of Star Wars back in 1977, so you must be old enough to remember the days when everyone read the same newspaper. Things are not like that anymore. This is why I’m telling you please, think about your information diet. Honestly, where are you getting your information about this stuff?

What I said is that gender isn’t a biological thing. The term “gender” refers to the social and cultural notions of masculinity and femininity, as opposed to the term “-Yoink!-” (ok that word is censored but I am sure you can figure out what it says from context) which is biological. If you can’t even get basic terminology correct, like knowing the difference between -Yoink!- and gender, then why would I think you have an informed opinion on this topic?

Either way, even if you had used the right terminology, you’d still be wrong. The idea that being trans is an illness just like being anorexic is an old (and insulting) trope that’s been debunked many times. But you don’t know that it’s been debunked because, again, your information diet about trans people probably consists of lying clowns like Abigail Shrier.

One of the reasons why the comparison to anorexia doesn’t hold up is because for something to be a mental illness, it has to be harmful, right? It’s easy to see how anorexia is harmful, but if a person decides they want to transition, there is no intrinsic harm in allowing them to do so.

ok but I asked what wanting to change one’s “biological gender” had to do with Halo because I am not aware of any trans characters in the game

Still waiting on somebody to explain to me why the campaign is supposed to be “woke”.

Bro, it’s a video game, keep it simple with “Male” and “Female” options and let everyone else work it out from there, discussing what sounds like politics in a game centered around “shooting space aliens” isn’t the best place to try and win hearts and minds.

Edit: I know OP made the original post about it but it is clearly what everyone calls an opinion, regardless of whether it’s right or wrong, it doesn’t look good on either of you arguing about it when it doesn’t benefit the game the forum is for, especially when many people I’m sure go to game to AVOID listening to stressful stuff like this.
