SBMM when In a party

Can someone please tell me how the sbmm works if your in a party . Is it based on average , the weakest the strongest the fierteam leader?

If you’re in a party of 3 or 4 people, your MMR will increase to counterbalance the advantage given by communicating with your teammates. So for example if you play with 3 friends and your team has an MMR of 1500, the matchamaker tries to find an enemy team with 1600-700 MMR. SBMM is always based on your team average MMR
