someone help me im trying to get every medal n h5 but im stuck on sayonara
Its a notoriously broken medal but my understanding of it is you have to do damage to an enemy spartan after they leave the playing surface, but before they die by falling.

That’s how it’s supposed to work, but it doesn’t. I’ve got a Sayonara medal, and the way I got it was driving off the map while someone was trying to hijack me. Most everyone I’ve seen who have gotten the medal did the same or similar (i.e. Driving themselves and an enemy occupying their vehicle in some way off the map).

That is indeed how i got mine too. Someone hopped in my wraith turret and i drove off the map.

OP, give this method a try. Bait enemies to board you near the map edge.
Does the hijack method work with AI enemies or does it have to be a player?

Has to be an enemy spartan, not AI
Every Sayonara medal I’ve ever gotten happened when the game glitched and enemies fell through the map on the Escape from ARC WZ map. There’s an area near the edge of the map at one of the main bases where players can fall through the map and that’s the only way I’ve gotten that medal.

So the only for sure way to get it is be on some Thelma and louise -Yoink-. Man that halo 2 map, Relic would have been nice for that.
