Pretty sure it’s been bugged from launch. Don’t think ive ever seen someone with that medal.
It’s broken. As is the Airsassination medal.
Yeah ive got it! Lol some guy on the enemy team spawned in a rock he caught my attention and I had a gravity hammer with me and I hit the rock so he fell and died and I got the medal lol! The air assassination is broken for me though

I don’t have a powder or pounder assist medal though.
Ive seen people get sayonara’s from killing warzone assault wall glitchers with grav hammers before.
I have 1 airassassination so though it may be difficult it is definitely in game.
Their is a youtube on how to get it. This one guy hijacjed this dudes gauss gunner and he drove off of a cliff with him and theu blew up and he got a sayonara medal. He was playing arena and was the game mode of Big Team Battle. Im gonna try it. Good luck.

Alright to get the Sayanara medal you have to weaken someone so much that if they take a huge leap they will die of fall damage. If they die because of a death barrier it will not be counted as a Sayanara medal. Fall damage is in the game, but it affects you only if you are unsheilded.

no, they removed fall damage completely, Sayonara is as it says in the description, but it has either been removed or it’s very bugged
Never gotten Sayonara, but felt like I did what I needed to do to achieve it. Do have one airassassination, and a couple of the pounder medals
I didn’t even know it was a medal xD Never seen it.
I’ve gotten it twice now. You have to damage someone before they glitch out of a map. That’s how I got both of mine.
The medal is very hard
Yeah…I got this medal but it was mostly lucky. Was dumping ammo into a ghost and he tried to splatter me…I jumped, he missed and fell of the cliff.
its a bit easy on infection maps like drillsite, shoot zombies and make them boost into the water without your shot killing them.
Also, my first ever sayonara was back when the armory glitch existed in warzone…some guy decided to hide inside the armory walls so me and my team just shot a couple of rockets above the doorway. guess the shock from my rocket made him fall into a kill barrier, ended up getting the medal.
It is bugged from the launch and doesn’t work from my experience, I always like getting a fastball medal though!
