Say USNC decides to comission new Infinity ships

Let’s say the UNSC decides to commission two new Infinity Class Supercarriers, what would names would you chose for them?

My idea: UNSC Preston J. Cole and UNSC Jacob Keyes

I’d personally avoid naming them after people because I think it deviates from the preestablished Infinity and Eternity too much. Something along the lines of UNSC Perpetual or UNSC Millennium sound more fitting to me.

There is already another being made called the Eternity as Nova said. I agree with him that the names should have something to do with being vast and infinite. Maybe UNSC Almighty, Immortality, or Absolute,

I also like the continuation of the infinite theme. I’d go with Everlasting and Boundless. Or maybe get into other references to infinity like Klein, Mobius, or Mandala, but I don’t think those work as well as ship names and are probably less identifiable to the average person.

In keeping with the synonyms of Infinity and if going with the ending in Y naming I would say, Sempiternity, Continuity or Potency. If not ending in Y but still synonyms it would be Blue Yonder, Everlasting, Forever and a Day or Millennium.

I feel as though we stay start straying into the Covenant naming system.

My thought for a new name would be the UNSC: Dainsleif

In keeping with Infinity and her sister ship Eternity, I’d commission an Infinty-Class Carrier as Legacy.

**Can’t say I agree with naming a supercarrier after a mythological sword. Sounds more fitting for a battleship or something like that.
