I like infinity slayer pro.I haven’t tried BTB slayer pro yet.I just wish their was radar in BTB slayer pro

I agree.

But everyone loves me… Lol
I say YES to a balanced playlist…
Yes to slayer pro.
Infinity is just far too random, encourages camo sniping, discourages map movement, and absolutely kills vehicle play
Well isn’t Throwdown that playlist, or did they end up removing it?
What if i say yes to both?
opinions are opinions. i believe infinity settings are more fun. i believe that pro settings are just typical engagements. i shoot you, you shoot me. kinda boring. at least with a hologram i can pop you out of that camping spot you found. waste some of that sniper ammo.
you people hating on infinity settings are just mad that you die from the use of an AA. when i get killed by a skillful use of a jetpack i applaud his skill. AA’s create opportunities.
and ordinance rewards players who do not camp. those guys out there moving aggressively are getting ordinance. reward.
i think everyone complaining about the AA and tactical packages and support upgrades are the ones who are not using them efficiently.
i wanted to keep the arguments in the other threads. this thread was for the people who oppose pro settings.
all of you people who love pro settings make your own thread. this is not for you.
also, i believe infinity is a balanced playlist.

I LoL’d
I LoL’d hard
This is what happens when halo 4 is kids first halo lol.
> “keep your population arguments and “facts” and everything in the other threads” Aka screw logic and common sense, we should remove pro because YOU hate it.
>
> I think if we had to put up with Infinity settings in TS/ BTB for 6 months +, you can surely put up with ONE gametype you dislike.
i still say no. i said “facts” in quotations because i feel like (from reading all the other threads) that the “facts” are just opinions. and poorly formed opinions from both sides of the argument.
also, i applaud the jetpack users killing me because it is rare.
> also, i applaud the jetpack users killing me because it is rare.
Same here. I think it only happens on Longbow sometimes. On other maps they just make themselfes an easy target. For other types like camo, hologram, etc, it is not a problem at all.
And for power weapons, I did a review of my stats 2 months ago and it looked like this (and this is only BTB):
24% with the dmr
7,3% with meele
7% with the AR
6% with the BR
5 % with the sniper
2,5% with the SAW
1,9% with the rocket launcher
1,6% with the binary rifle
1,3% with the incineration cannon
1% with the fuel rod cannon
1% with the splaser
1% with the beam rifle
So no, the power weapons don´t do to much damage imho, and with the rest of them, they kill me about 1 time of 6. With the changed sandbox the only thing that will change is that the dmr will go down and give some kills to BR/Carbin/LR.
I don’t dislike infinity because of AAs (although camo does need a nerf in BTB).
I dislike the fact that warthogs have a life expectancy of 1.3 nano seconds.
I dislike the fact that the guy stood camo on the same rock at the back of the map gets rewarded with an ordnance drop and never EVER has to move from his power position.
I dislike the randomness and unfairness; the way one team has a binary rifle drop from the sky deep in their territory; the way one player gets unlucky ordnance and the next guy gets an incen cannon or beam rifle.
I dislike the fact that the lack of on-map weapons eradicates the need to move around the map and teams are rewarded by huddling all 8 players on the same spot (bravo base on Longbow or hilltop on Wreckage are good examples)
Im fine with Pro, but it gets kinda boring after you play several games in a row of it, and all the JIPs put you in Pro games. I WANNA USE MY ASSAULT RIFLE
But what if I want to say “YES!” to pro? Sure, I can agree that it should be in a separate playlist from infinity slayer, but I don’t think it should be gotten rid of entirely. At the moment, Slayer Pro is my favorite slayer variant in the game. It feels much more fair, and much more in tune to what Halo should be. I’m also extremely excited to see how the gametype plays after the weapon update, because I believe the four loadouts would be much more balanced.
My suggestion would simply be to make a Pro playlist, where there are multiple gametypes like CTF Pro, and Oddball Pro. This way, people who enjoy the Pro settings can have fun the way they want to, and the people who enjoy the infinity settings can have fun the way they want to.
Only issue I can see with this though is the fact hat the playlist would probably be full of tryhards like in team doubles and team throwdown. That’s why I’m content with where it’s at right now. However, if 343 fixes the game to where you actually play games with people of equal skill, it would probably be my favorite playlist in the game.
On another note, making a thread that is not capable of an actual discussion is a waste of space. Offer constructive ideas for what can be done about your issues rather than just “say no to this”.
Say YES to Slayer Pro.
OP needs to adapt.

adapt? one of the last pro games i played i was 21 kills 2 deaths. that is no fun to me. just typical boring engagements.
i like to throw my opponent off or get caught attempting to do so. learn from my mistakes or successes and play again. take videos of crazy things that can happen.
i say no to being forced to play pro settings. emphasis on the forced. keep pro variants out of infinity slayer and btb. i want to play halo 4 not halo pro (whatever game that is).
from all the forum topics i read. it seems that people only want to play pro settings against people who do not want to play them. so they can win more. they want to force the people who do not want pro variants to play them so they can beat them.
i see that a lot of people point out that there was a pro variant that had it’s own dedicated playlist that was the least populated playlist ever. i have seen many defenses against this, but no one pointed out that people do not want to play against people who want to play this setting. they want to crush noobs. i do not want that. i like the thrill infinity settings. not the boring noob crushing of pro settings.
also, i would like to point out a friend of mine who plays occasionally. def not pro. uses the assault rifle almost exclusively. he has been playing that way since halo 3. he does not have proficiency in the precision weapons. taking away his weapon of choice is not fair. he gets killed to the point of frustration with pro settings. 343 will def lose a player if pro settings persist. let me point out that my friend has a 2+ k/d for slayer. he is also fairly proficient with vehicles which so many people say are underpowered or easy targets.
i say take a look at this non-elite player’s unique style of play and learn something from it. if he can do it, why cant you?
I say yes to Pro and yes to balanced & fair game play.
It could use a radar and some static starting weapon spawns though.
