I hate to make a thread like this but this issue needs to be addressed. If you dare say anything that isn’t positive about 343, the mods will shut you down. Take a look at this locked thread, particularly the response of the mod. The mods are currently a law unto themselves. The thread I linked to was in no way offensive, abusive or rude - it was simply Halo fans discussing which developer (Bungie or 343) they felt made the better Halo games.
This thread will be locked very quickly I imagine as it doesn’t profess our undying love of 343 or their mods. However, please note that I am not trolling, being abusive or making rude comments. I’m simply stating my opinion which is, or at least should be, allowed.
There are actually a lot of threads showing posts that aren’t positive towards 343. I think one of the forum rules is to have the thread created constructively. Something like “343 sux” for a thread opening isn’t constructive, and should rightfully so be closed.
I think as long as people show why they’re displeased in a manner that doesn’t sound like they turned back into kids, it should be fine.
think this is some kind of conspiracy theory huh? I can tell you from experience I have posted things against 343 but not get locked or blocked. (aside from a vulgar remark to mlg and a forum topic for the creator of the plastic fruit maps) but besides those there have been no problems.

How was the previously stayed thread excessively non constructive? Besides that, the forum mod gave no indication of why it was locked. I’m honestly at a loss here.

It doesn’t promote any discussion besides trashing 343 or Bungie and has nothing to do with Halo 5.

I don’t believe anyone was trashing 343 or bungie. The OP even asked for everyone to state why they made their choice. In my opinion, its a great discussion just waiting to be had. Of course, it could be the complete opposite. But shouldn’t we give people the benefit of the doubt?
