Saw some stuff on youtube about season 3

Most of what I saw is stuff for helmets and stuff. I did hear that you will be able to turn of player collision. Not sure what that is for. I assume that you won’t be able to run over teammates? with a vehicle? If so I hope is for team players only. I guess we will find out next month.

I saw no mention about Custom Games so far. It’s still broken and we have no way to rotate maps like we could in Halo MCC or about a server list like we had in Halo MCC. I hope they get their act together and have it fixed in season 3.

Off?
Probably on, and it’d mean players can not occupy the same space anymore. Not run through each other that is.

I’d be very surprised if they add player collision to the game at this point. I thought 343 even said they had no intention of ever adding it when everyone was complaining.

Player collision being off means you can walk straight through enemies and teammates like in this game.

Player collision being on means enemies and teammates are solid object you cant walk through like in every other Halo game

Also, splattering teammates will always be on. Turning it off could lead to physics exploits by squishing players against geometry.

They mentioned they were looking to make it an option for forge/custom games. For typical MM they have no intention of turning it on.

One of their biggest mistakes!

Yeah but only for teammates, which is not as much of an issue compared to the enemies going through you and close/melee combat being a real clusterf***… If that’s howc343 “listens” then they must be deaf.

Collision for enemies is on, it’s just that the servers/netcode/who knows is so garbage that you are constantly phasing through each other and hopping you don’t get backsmacked in the face.

Not for custom games it’s not! I play custom games only. I could care less about multiplayer games!

Its always on for enemies but its broken as heck.

Presumably teammate collision will be just as buggy.

I could care less about custom games.

In my experience, collision is not on for enemies.

So, it’s on, but not really.

Fun…

You basically just described the whole game.

The matchmaking specifics of MCC work wonders because you can add multiple multiplier games to your search. This alone in Infinite doesn’t make sense. It’s to small.

I agree 100% Bud! :grinning:
