I have played several games of halo 4 now, and one thing really really pisses me off. The saw. I had an overshield last game, yet the saw tore through it in less that 2 seconds. The damage needs to be nerfed and quite badly I feel. Should the Saw be nerfed?
The power is fine. It is a PW after all.
It just has too much ammo. It has spawn weapons amounts of ammo.
i was able to kill some one in 4 seconds i think no overshield not sure about the 2 seconds, is it possible you were taking damage from someone else
let´s suppose the nerf it. So what do we have now? a different skin for the assault rifle? not going to happen
That’s why it’s an ordnance weapon, it’s supposed to be overpowered.
People cry over weapons to be nerfed just end up ruining the game and making the guns completely pointless to use. All LMG type guns are suppose to have the up end advantage because of the bigger clip. Everything will get nerfed and be ruined after a couple of patches, making the game broke.
Its a powerweapon. By your logic the needler and shotgun should be nerfed too.

Funny how people only call out weapons to be nerfed when they get killed by them.
Boohoo!!! What about the rocket launcher? That kills you in one hit…
The SAW is obviously going to kick -Yoink- at CLOSE RANGE.

The thing is, it has no recoil, immense range, crazy power, and a huge clip.
If I have a DMR/BR, I can still take out someone with a Sniper, or Rockets, or Railgun, all those I have a fighting chance against, weapon to weapon. Those are all power weapons.
The SAW you CANNOT win against with a DMR/BR, or any other starting weapon.

I absolutely beg to differ.
I would say it has too much ammo, but that is my only complaint.
They just just to nerf frags they are like reach frags

I’ve beaten the saw with my DMR/BR…so yeah, nah.
Also, the SAW should be able to beat default weapons (especially at close range); it’s given to you as ordinance as a power weapon…you have to work for it.
A power weapon powerful? INCONCEIVABLE!
I think you might just be bad but who knows. It takes me half a clip to kill someone, and like 20 to null out shields
It isn’t too powerful a weapon it just comes around too often in PODs

The SAW is amazing in campaign, if they nerfed it, it would become another assault rifle and would make no sense to be an ordinance drop. It needs to be powerful close range, its an LMG.
