This is a fairly specific problem, but whenever I try to save an Infection game mode I get an error message saying “Save Error: We could not save your file at this time. Please try again.” I spent the last few days building a map called “Survive the Warp”. Whenever I calibrate the Infection settings to work for my map, it doesn’t let me save the new variant. I can calibrate and save other game modes, just not Infection. I also tried using another profile to make the Infection variant, and I got the same error.
Anybody have a clue what’s going on here?
It seems like someone else is experiencing the same issue. I’d see if you guys have anything in common (both changed the number of alpha infected, enabled machinima), it might be a certain setting that is bugged.

Thanks for replying. I’ve been waiting for a response on Halo Support for two and a half weeks. I honestly forgot I posted the issue on Halo Waypoint as well.
In my case, the settings of infection don’t matter. Every variant, whether it’s the default Infection mode or an edited version cannot be saved as a new game mode. But thank you for the information. I’ll check out the other user’s issue.

I might’ve posted this already but there might be a difference in the way you save it— saving a copy of the default mode, changing that copy, and saving it OR changing the default mode, and saving that new mode directly. If you’re doing it one way maybe try the other?
If you need a workaround I can see if the game will let me save the settings you need and then you can try saving a copy of “my” game mode.
It sucks that support is taking so long, that’s the best I can do (as a regular community member).
