So I just finally started playing Halo 5 and as much as I hate the campaign, I’m in love with Warzone. I’ve been playing and buying Req Packs like crazy but I’m only lvl 26. My friend said I should save my gold Req Packs for a higher level because it’ll give me better gear once I’m a higher level. What should I wait until?
Your Spartan Rank doesn’t dictate what kinds of stuff you get from Gold packs. You have the same chance as legendary/mythic gear as everyone else.
However, if you want to unlock all customization items as fast as possible, you should systematically buy REQ packs. Buy silver packs until you start getting RP refunds instead of permanents (this will get you all your common-to-rare REQs unlocked). Then start buying gold packs.
