I just finished a match where I feel I did some incredible stuff worth saving. But for some reason I can’t save the film. Are we not able to save films of our matches anymore?
I’m sure this has been asked to death already, but I normally don’t pay much attention to threads regarding Theater.
We cannot save full length films, but if you would like to record clips, you can and they are saved to the Xbox One DVR.

Ok, thanks. I saved some of the cool moments, but I just wanted to keep the whole clip to watch at another time, but oh well.

I had one of those matches too, so I just took two 5-minute clips, shaved the second one down (the match was about 8.5 minutes), and labelled them as “Part 1” and “Part 2” respectively. It’s too bad you can’t have clips over 5 minutes long on the Xbox DVR.

It’s too bad we can’t save actual theater mode clips. 343i doesn’t seem to understand that theater mode allows you to rewatch a match from any angle and even in slow motion over and over where as the DVR only records what’s on screen. The DVR doesn’t allow you to free roam the camera which is what I want to do.

You’ll find no argument from me here. It is indeed a shame that we can’t save theatre clips. I wonder why that is…

Why not splice the clips together to make one long video?
