Save Us the extra 25 bucks!

With the new DLC map pack coming out costing us an extra 25 bucks (we ended up paying 85 dollars for halo4) can 343 do something nice and give us some free maps? Like in all of the halos can they give us some community made maps. My preferences would be the remakes of Lockout, pit, and construction, but heck I will take anything!

Or just buy the season pass so you get all the maps and save money???

Really trying to mooch dlc maps for a video game… WTF is this world coming to?

That 2000mspoints pass is worth? I was plaining to get the maps separadelly, buy each one when they come out. I wonder if they will coust 800msp, if so 800x3 = 2400mspoints, but I dont want to pay for something I’ll get later

This is the thing I hate about consoles, if it were a PC it would just be a free update and you wouldn’t pay a penny. Overall I got LE so doesn’t matter to me.

what are you talking about OP, the next DLC map pack will cost 800 msp. (~10 dollars, not 25)

My boy pc has not been like that in years.
You have to pay for maps these days unless they are community created. Hell at times you have to pay for models or weapons.

If they were to give them out for free, Halo 4 would be launching with enough free maps to the point where we would almost be playing on as many as Halo 3 has with all its DLC.

Correct me if I’m wrong but we get 13 maps for free, and 9 coming out on DLC. That’s 22 maps alone within the first… six months? Halo 3 had how many with its launch maps + DLC over the first few years?

Asks a business to do something for free, instead of make money like a business.

Whether you like it or not, game devs are a BUSINESS.
As in, there to make a profit.
