So i been seeing no one playing johnson or forge in longtime so i decide find out why and its true there really tier 3 hero and suck. Forge used be supply focus in original and he could be building heavy units early or be funding his team mates due his early income advantage. His ability need be buffed such as bombs, grizzlys, and income perks. He use be top in first month now he needs be fixed but him up Isabel but with grizzlys and he will be viable.
Johnson on other hand was supposed be this turtle style hero and be able hold the line well that failed. His hero isnt bad and heal marines is nice and bunkers are ok. But his worth while perk is siphon turrets and there reduce cost, emp mac, and his ability build for free. His mantis and colossus cant competed unless there in big group so is say 25 to 30 percent buff can help. And give colossus more range will make them force to be on attacking from distance if you want take out a base. I think his hero be changed be more dps and damage and little health.
These are all issue i seen but im sure more are to come as i play as them see whats wrong. So please lets save the sergeants.
I really wish they would restore some Forge’s eco play. It would really be awesome and make him much more viable I think.

I agree and disagree w/ Johnson:
- Colossus damage and health are in a sweet spot for walking, but I’m still advocating for a lockdown replacement for stomp which makes more sense. That should provide the damage, range and armor boost (essentially keep Colossus the same for walking, but the buff would come from the new Y ability). - Johnson, like you said, is more of a turtle leader, so because of that I wouldn’t make him a DPS leader, but rather something akin to Colony. He should shine in keeping his other units alive w/ heal dropping.
I’ve heard forge is good in the right hands & Johnson has a few champion players in 1v1
I do use Johnson a lot although I’m not really a top player (probably champion #100-150ish).
The bunker seems to be pretty useful at holding power nodes. I think that is the key. Johnson gets decimated late game so you need to control all the power nodes to win game before that. Well placed siege turrets combined with his vision bonus can do a lot of damage.
