Hi Community
I purchased Halo:CE Anniversary on release date but have only just started to play it as I was waiting for my friend to get back from overseas so we could go through the game in Coop over Xbox Live
We finished the Pillar of Autumn. We started Halo and decided to go get some dinner and continue after dinner.
When we turned our xboxes back on it said we had not completed The Pillar of Autumn yet. Also have not read or collected the first terminal or skull.

We then finished PoA and Halo then my friend had to leave for work so we ended the game. Only for the game to show that I have not completed PoA or Halo, but can choose to start from the level Truth.

Is there any fix for this?

Did you see the level through until it autosaved?
And did you get the achievement to confirm level complete?

I have all achievements up to the 3rd level even the ones for doing coop.
I just need to kill 3 banshees and not drive the warthog in the level halo

Hmm, maybe you should try getting past the Pillar of Autumn alone, turn it off and turn it back on to see if it says you completed it, because due to my memory, I believe that co-op missions don’t count as doing the actual thing. In the original and the Anniversary, I believe you had to do the level alone to actually advance. If the problem persists, please complain, I’m pretty sure 343 is willing to hear complaints, not however willing to replace it, you will have to persevere for that one. Good Luck!

I tried going playing solo and yet my game still did not save.
I tried deleting all my data for Halo:CE Anniversary from my hard drive including the update patch and the dlc skull.
Then rebooted the game, downloaded the patch and tried again. My game is now saving and working correctly.
I still have to redownload the skull.

I am… all the memories from playing it when it first came back. So awesome!!
It is funny it is not until you press the back button that you realize how far the game graphics have come.
