Just happen to me… im a pc player and i dont use gamepad…
pls fix this or the only thing i can do is unistalling the game, i dont wont to loose again hours of play…
Really wish we would get some acknowledgement here as this completely ruined the game for me and I have 0 hope that it will be fixed at all let alone in a timely manner. This blows
now if i try to run the game it open the microsoft store in the “Servizi di gioco” app (gaming service i presume in english)
I have the same issue. NOT GOOD.
Exactly the same issues as described above.
Playing on PC both gamepad on TV and KB/M on monitor.
The Gaming Service issue I was able to resolve by re-installing the game. It didn’t fix the corrupted save though.
I loaded into my save with the FOB that I ended my last session with gone and reverted back to the Covenant, then I tried exiting and playing again and that’s when the countdown bug graced me with its presence.
I ain’t starting a new save, so if this is how it ends, then I guess this is how it ends. Maybe I’ll revisit the campaign next year.
Back to Destiny, which is doing Halo content better than Halo itself, to no one’s surprise honestly considering who the devs are.
i have fix by doing reset from app setting in windows setting for halo infinite without reinstalling .
this have fix the gaming service bug and the save (the game have take the cloud save)
Uninstalling the game does nothing, I have already done it twice in different file locations and the issue is still the same.
This bug took me out just before what i think is the last mission. Such a bummer.
According to some videos ive watched. The cause is having your controller plugged in and the game registering a second person when youre loading the game. If you get the popup on your screen saying your microsoft account login details and has a “Lets Go” button. Dont click that button…

Yep, but unfortunately it seems like once you’ve managed to ‘activate’ this bug doing anything to resolve it will yield no results. Even on a fresh restart of my PC with any and all controllers, cables, and anything but my M&K disconnected, I’m still not able to load in.
Any news from the devs?
Still silence from the devs. Nearing a week since release and still unplayable. Moving soon and won’t have access to the game, really wanted to power through it before i had to move, and i cannot. Great stuff 343
It’s an issue with gamepass double signing u in that causes this, not infinite
The save file will never restore, gamepass overwrites your cloud save with a corrupted file.
There are a few videos out that explain what causes the corrupt file and how to avoid gamepass double signing you in to cause this
I’ve played countless other game pass gams and have never experienced anything like this so it’s definitely a problem with Infinite’s implementation of game pass services. It’s crazy that MS’s own flagship franchise is the first and only Game Pass game I’ve had so many problems with
I am experiencing something similar - I played on XSX, then decided to try it on PC - it worked fine for 10 mins, then crashed after the graphics started glitching like crazy. After that, after clicking on “continue”, I get a countdown, then nothing…
uninstalled, re-installed, same issue - then I go on my XSX again, and the issue followed me there - and I too have a save file from about 15 mins in that shows up.
I was nearing the end of the campaign, and had over 70% of collectibles…talk about depressing.
