i am in same boat. 12 hours in got the camera bug bam,. save game gone and the cloud is sync to a new gamer for some reason.,ffs

Just logged on after not being able to play yesterday, and my save file is gone as well, continue isnāt working and the load file just says a play through with 1 minute ā¦ Iāve already gotten all the FOBās and had up to the wasp unlocked. I had made it to the Repository mission.
I wasnāt very far but I can confirm that my save no longer works and appears it was caused by having multiple controllers connected as it happened right after I switched from playing It Takes Two with my wife with two controllers connected. It also breaks ability to load into multiplayer where it loads me stuck under the map which restarting my system fixes but the campaign seems permanently screwed
So, I made the video showing how it happens. The cause of the bug is being double signed in. This can happen mid game if your controller disconnects and reconnects and prompts you to sign in. Just close out the sign in prompt, never sign in again or press LETS GO. For Xbox players, I would be more worried about booting the game while already being double signed in. If you try to load or start a game, it will break it. The workaround is just make sure before you start the game, turn off and sign out every other controller first, and never sign in again when prompted. Also, I donāt think there is any way to recover a save file after this happens, but hopefully it can be recovered after a patch.

I have a series x and I had just beat a boss around 90% complete. Was going up an elevator then game just crashed. Went to load game like always and progress bar for how much complete of the game doesnāt even show up. Reinstalled halo campaign and still nothing. Save file there. But cannot access it. Such a aggravating moment too. So close to done. Come on devs. Whatās going on here.

Just writing a comment so this gets more visibility, this also happened to me and hopefully they solve this bug, I honestly donāt have expectations to recover my 11 hour save file, but I want to at least start a new game. From what people on Youtube and here are saying it has to do with swapping controllers and having two accounts signed in (I donāt really know the specifics but itās something I did and this happened)
I also had this problem on the infinite campaign on the series x. Was in the recovery mission (ironic I know) and saved and quit. Kids played a two player game then I went back to infinite on my account and loaded my game. Camera went buggy, I couldnāt control anything so I reset but wasnāt able to load the saved campaign. I get the countdown but after 1 nothing happens. I deleted the local saved file, resynced with the cloud but the problem persisted. Anyone have success with a response from tech support?
Just had this problem on pc as well 15 hour save 29% through gone, the sign in page kept popping up and i clicked on it. Reading the forum replys tells me that corrupted my save i guess ill keep playing multiplayer to see if a patch will fix it.
I also have the issue and have tried multiple workarounds to no avail.
Refusing to play until this is fixed my and save is restored.
I think youāve hit the nail on the head. This problem only happened to me when I started using a controller instead of mouse and keyboard, & Game Pass kept telling me to sign back in. Do you have a link to the video?

Having this issue as well. Iāve sent a ticket, and hope for the best. Probably gonna have to redo the campaign up to where it bugged. Terrible, terrible job by 343. Freaking had 6 years and canāt even make a damn campaign right
Omg 68% progres legendary now I have playtime of 00:00:15 seconds and campaign wont load. What a shambles

Just thought Iād reply because I actually was in the same scenario. IDK if it was the direct cause but I also tried starting the campaign after having played it takes two with my wife with two controllers connected to my PC. Kind of eerie how similar our situation was lol.
When I started my campaign, the screen repeatedly kept flashing. I force closed the game and when I came back my save file is not available for load. If I click continue it counts down but never does anything.
Lot about 20 hours sunk into the campaign. Iām reluctant to start again knowing that it could possibly all be blown away (again). So Iām just gonna wait for a fix.
PC specs: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 3070, I have game pass but the game is purchased.

Had the same flashing as well so I quit back to the menu and couldnāt load back in from that point. Then I found MP loading broken as well with the same stuck under the map glitch that happened a previous time after playing It Takes Two with two controllers connected. The MP issue goes away once I reboot but unfortunately it appears to permanently break the campaign.

I am haivng the same issue, pc + game pass, nothing happens after clicking continue.
Saw on a video that if a pop-up appears asking to confirm your account you shouldnāt press the Letās go button or that will cause the issue, but not 100% sure if that is really true.
