Same issue if someone gets a fix post it
Do you think playing offline could help prevent the bug from happening?
Restarted the game and rushed through the campaign on legendary back where my save corrupted, now Iâm going to play offline.
Same issue here. Any fix yet?
Only thing I have read online to try avoid this, is sometimes while playing it will ask you to login again. Quit the game and lose some progress is the advice, rather than logging in again. Apparently logging in again will corrupt your save file. For now Iâm not starting over, under fear this happens again.
Here is the reply to my ticket, both myself and my kid are having this issue:

So pretty much the Campaign is unplayable, unless you want to just keep playing nonstop only to lose your save data when you turn off the game.
The save point is there, the game will not load it. We play on an Xbox one x and an Xbox one S. So that tells you right there itâs an issue with the software since its happening on PC in the same fashion. I should also mention that this happened right after we input our codes that came with the pre-order for armor in Waypoint. My kid had over 12 hours in the game and I was at 5 hours. Please file a ticket if you have not already, hopefully it will light a fire under their butts.

I have filed multiple tickets but they keep marking them as solved without responding and I keep trying to follow up with new posts. Hopefully weâll get a fix soon.

Itâs really insane how this isnât getting the same attention as the BTB issues. The BTB issues still sucks donât get me wrong, but at least MP is free, which isnât any sort of excuse, however Infiniteâs Campaign is 60-EFFING-dollars!!!

Managed to beat the game in legendary playing offline!
Hereâs an article on the issue where it claims 343 has acknowledged the issue and are currently working on a real fix. It seems being the squeaky wheel for 343 managed to get some oil on this issue. Good work people. Lets hope itâs fixed soon and, since Xbox wouldnât refund my purchase since it was âplayedâ, so We can at least actually play it eventually.

I hope they wonât only fix it but also repair the broken save game somehow. Seems the files are still there, so hopefully they can recover the progress.
Just experienced this game save bug today. Lost over 18 hours of game play. Playing on Xbox only and did not experience any sign in pop up requests just randomly happened.
No point playing campaign as it may happen again at any point. At least Forza is a finished game so will go back to that.

Same exact thing happened to me last night, lost 8 hours of progress which is nothing compared to some of the comments I read. Logged in a ticket on the support site and received the same response ghost_fish got in the comment above. Never had anything like this occur in the past with any game and am floored that this issue is so widespread and not fixed yet
Absolutely crazy they have not even acknowledged this, I just finished all the side stuff and was happily on to finish the game then this bull happened.

I just corrupted two save files, one being my LASO run which I was at 35% completion. The second having completed the main story but the rest of the side missions left to mop up, which I have been letting my youngest son chip away at. Pretty pissed at the moment.

Same bug here. Loaded the game yesterday and it had a buggy camera, not being able to walk at all. Left the game, restarted and it doesnât load the saved game anymore.
Microsoft/343 doesnât care. Theyâll never fix it I guess⌠
I lost hope. I canceled my gamepass which I subscribed to only for this game, I advice you to do it to. and people who bought it specifically, I advice you to demand refund.
