I play maybe 2 or 3 campaign missions, save them each time, wait for the little circle to stop spinning as the game asks so it doesnt lose your data and then i reload another day to find it’s gone. This has happened to me 3 times now. On xbox.
Bought the game on release and played through it then but ultimately traded it to get other things. Came back with this complete edition with all the bells and whistles, only to find it i want to do the campaign now i need to do it in 1 sitting…
Is there any fix for this or have i just wasted 50 on a game i assumed wouldnt have such issues having been out years.
I see nobody uses these forums…ok, i’ll ring microsoft for a refund in the morning for a faulty product.
Edit: requested a refund now. Hopefully it will go through so i dont have to ring and complain that something you can do on a sega mega drive you cant do on an xbox one x…
Refunds been rejected…so now im left with a faulty product…so now i’m going to have to write a complaint, go through regilators etc…at least i’ve got plenty of time to do this in lockdown.

Hey there. I’ve posted about this very same issue before, along with several others. Unless ever explicitly stated otherwise, to me it seems that 343 has pretty much abandoned support for Halo Wars 2. I’ve been extremely disappointed and frustrated that they keep rushing the PC releases of MCC yet they won’t even fix their already existing games.
Trust me, you’re not the only one. My hope is 343 sincerely reads these forums, takes action to implement a permanent and solid fix, and make the player-base happy. But unfortunately, my concerns tend to fall on deaf ears and no one at this company either reads these posts, or cares. I’ve spent possibly a grand or two in my hard-earned money on Halo games and books and other stuff. But I think they just look at dollars and cents on an accounting spreadsheet, not actually fixing these issues that have been plaguing HW2 for years. That’s my opinion and personal experience, anyway. If they’d ever reply and take some action that’d be awesome. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Have a nice day.
Ysah i get that impression that they’ve dropped it, neh mind. I just stopped playing it as whats the point if it wont save?
