I’ve never been an avid forger, but I just had an idea for Halo 4’s forge mode that I think would be neat. Say you’re making a map and you construct a cool looking bridge that you decide that you’d want to incorporate into a future map, but you know you’ll never be able to make it exactly the same. I propose a feature that lets you highlight a number of forge objects and save them as one object in a custom forge objects menu.
It would even allow people to go into other people’s maps and if they see a certain building or structure they could save it and use it in their own maps. Maybe they could even have a section of the 343 website dedicated to forge that would allow people to load and share maps and custom forge objects.
Edit: Custom forge object folders too to avoid clutter if you have a bunch of saved objects.

I can not think of a single reason as to why this should be true. I often make mechanisms such as destructable bridges, elevators and doors, to be able to add these in a single click as a pose to the usual hour of work would be a life saver.
Not only that, but if you feel like helping other forgers, then instead of just making a tutorial showing how to build something complex, you could save the structure and then anybody could use it.
Thanks OP
Like an object template. That would be awesome, so if I made an awesome base structure i could copy and paster to the other side of the map.

That is another great use of the feature. You could make the other half of your symmetrical map in no time at all. Although it may be laggy when moving all the structures across and flipping them round…May want to do it in stages
