Save Boosts for Double XP Times?

So I haven’t played Halo 5 regularly since 2018, but am trying to grind from 146 to 152. Do your Legendary XP boosts yield the same amount of boost, regardless of double XP weekends and the like? I want to use my boosts at the most advantageous of times and wanna make sure I’m not wasting them. Thanks!

Double xp only doubles the match xp and not the boost if I remember correctly.

Double XP only affects the base match XP.
Doesn’t matter when you use the boost, double or not. Use those bad boys up
