I can’t believe it! The Halo community does not care about campaign. Id multiplayer all you care about? I just can not find lasting appeal in Halo without campaign. It is what started Halo, now no one cares. It all about multiplayer, and forge and this and that - -Yoink-! That is -Yoinking!- sad that people care about multiplayer than the story. The real core of Halo. The story and music are what started Halo, I <3 multiplayer but I have no sympathy for it because it clouding up the campaign of Halo. Sigh Welcome to the new world order.
cuz people only play campaign for a couple of hours and multiplayer for days.
I just want to find out what happens next in the story and they ill be playing multiplayer nonstop
> No the NWO will be Fascist. But further to your point, I don’t want to hear about Campaign because ahhh… SPOILERS!
Correct. OP, nobody wants to hear anything about Campaign because it will ruin plot duhh. And they can’t say “Campaign is Good”. We clearly care about campaign, but the only information released to us have been about multiplayer and Chief being more “Human”.

I know but people on the forum and in the games say that they dont care. So out of anger I made this post
I love Campaign man i always play campaign before i play Multiplayer im so imersed into the story of Halo hell im listening to the Halo CEA terminals on Youtube as i write this.
I also find myself quite attached to the Halo charecters as well i have been playing Halo for 10 years and when a charecter dies i feel sad and Halo is the only game i feel that in.
I care about campaign, but I care about multiplayer so much more. Sure, the campaign is good while it lasts, but once you beat it on legendary, it’s not that fun to play again. Multiplayer lasts for years.

Come back to me Johnson! Your not dead! Not when I still BELIEVE!!!
I don’t want to hear about campaign because of possible spoilers.
If they throw out one ViDoc (The new threat?) and some info on weapons and vehicles in campaign then I’ll be happy.
No major cutscenes, plot, or character leaks please.

As someone who prefers RPGs and tactical (stealth) shooters, I don’t particularly care about campaign for FPS games. There aren’t many memorable moments or discussions or characters or bosses. Reach looks more cinematic and I am expecting a big story and fleshed-out environments and moments but nothing I’m especially excited about in terms of plot or experience. If they succeed in making each level a unique experience with different ways to progress instead of a big linear map with scripted moments filled with enemies I’d be pleasantly surprised. If there’s philosophy or moral issues (eg what made MGS and Deus Ex so memorable) involved instead of just go-here go-there pew-pew-pew I’d be very surprised. Halo has traditionally been very lacking in this aspect.
And tbh I’m honestly tired of the story as established in the games. Halo 4 will certainly draw on the expanded universe from the books and such so we can expect more than the basics
I’ve seen quite a few threads on the Campaign here. People are very passionate about it. However, some of the Multiplayer details that 343 released have put this section of the forum into an extended uproar – there’s still plenty of Campaign love, but it’s being drowned out by Multiplayer fear for the time being.
Hopefully, as we get some more teasers and details about the story, things’ll turn toward a more upbeat, and Campaigny, direction.
Here is the answer to your question OP: The campaign is what I will buy the game for, but the multiplayer is what I will stay for.
Sure, the story is what made the game, and is what will make the game for the next trilogy, but at soon as I beat the game, I need something to keep me playing it. That is why the multiplayer is the hot topic, because after a week, it is what will make or break the game.
> I completed Reachs campaign Solo Legendary the day it came out. Haven’t cared about it since.

Wow, classifying all games under you opinion.
Have you ever played GTA? Do you classify open world games as repetitive?
Do you think that your opinion is the word of law?
