Sarah Palmer vs Dr. Halsey!!!! Your thoughts?

We all know palmer hated halsey since day1 now that she has permission to kill her she couldnt be more happier. But if palmer kills halsey then master chief would be forced to kill palmer due to the fact that halsey is the only person to bring back cortana. So whats going to happen? Will 343 finally answer my prayers and put a bullet in Sarah palmer’s head? Or will jul m’dama kill palmer? If you havent noticed by now i would give anything to see palmer dead atleast that way we would be one step closer to restoring discipline to then UNSC.

The MC wouldn’t kill Palmer over Not being able to get cortana back, He would kill anyone that harms Halsey since she is like a mother to him.

hopefully palmer dies soon. Worst character to be added to halo to date.

I originally thought that Palmer would die in one of the later spartan ops and somehow be used as Chief’s new AI.

Now it looks like perhaps Chief could forgo an AI altogether and just use the mantle (how the Didact spoke with Chief) and an accomplice (perhaps Halsey).

I wouldn’t mind if she went down, or was captured. I would be curious to find out who her replacement would be.

But I must say, I am looking forward to Halsey and the Librarian’s conversation.

Most of the characters added in Halo 4 are. So are the Traviss characters. They all suck. Greg Bear on the other hand has made wonderful characters.

Yeh i just dont like all the disrespect being shown to halsey and mc, both of which are the heros and saviors of humanity.

Palmer would destroy Halsey in a physical fight , But Halsey would destroy Palmer mentally

Words could not describe the sort of Hell that would be.

Palmer could easily kill halsey if the two actually got within shooting range of eachother. But doing so would antagonize the remaining spartan-IIs, and that would mean Palmer’s death, for certain.

The librarian might give Halsey some special powers of some kind. I mean she could like give Halsey some sentinels to command and they would just fry Palmer.

ha

Palmer oil hahahaha

One thing is for certain, in my opinion at least, Halsey will not die. She has just met the Librarian and had an in depth conversation with her. A proper conversation between one of the greatest minds of humanity and a Forerunner that is willing to help humanity. It is clear that no one in their right mind would kill Halsey with her knowing the kind of information she will learn from her conversation with the Librarian. So, unless Palmer is a monumental moron, which she does not seem to be despite having moronic moments, Palmer will not kill Halsey after learning that Halsey has important intel. Whether Palmer dies or not however is a completely different matter.

Exactly. In spartan ops the spartan-Iv’s called her some old lady. How do you not know the person that made your armor? What do they teach these people in the spartan iv program. Even the odst’s knew who halsey was.

Halsey can’t die, she delivers that speech at the end of Halo: Reach which is set in 2589!!! And furthermore, they wouldn’t dare kill off such an important character in the entire Halo franchise in weekly, downloadable episodic content - they would save that for the campaign of a major game installment (or a novel). I’m thinking this will all be an elaborate set-up for Chief and Halsey eventually meeting up in Halo 5, and that Spartan Ops will serve to chronicle Halsey’s side of the journey to get to him.

Hook them both up to Infinity’s matchmaking holodeck and let them settle their differences in a Jello filled wrestling match.

off topic: why do people hate palmar so much?

on topic: i really don’t believe john would kill her, even if she kill her.
plus she is kinda a -Yoink- if u read the books. it was a spartan 2 who arrested her in the first place

She’s a bland character with little to no character development and her dialogue is, for the most part, pitiful. When she warns you about snipers on Ep1: Chap2 I nearly raged.

Plus, Halsey wasn’t a -Yoink-, but she wasn’t a people person. Also, it was Naomi and Osman who arrested her if memory serves me right, one is a Spartan II who washed out the program and hated Halsey for it, despite it being out of Halsey’s control (Osman) and the other was a Spartan II who has been told all the crimes Halsey committed however nobody has pointed out the good she did, despite the crimes she committed.

I do agree with you on your assessment of John, he wouldn’t kill Palmer for killing Halsey, if she did kill her. Palmer is following orders, if Halsey was executed, and John did go out looking for revenge, it would be the people that ordered the execution he would be after. John’s a soldier, he understands the chain of command and that Palmer was following orders.

OK, all you guys know that this whole SPARTAN Ops thing is designed to showcase what happened to the SPARTAN program after Halsey was out of the picture, right?

Halsey was not impressed with SPARTAN III’s. Her disdain for SPARTAN IV’s is currently well justified. These clowns act like High School jocks. Far less discipline or sense of duty than any SPARTAN II (I wonder what Jorge would think of Palmer?).

However, if these characters are going to mature then they have to start from somewhere. At least Thorne seems to have his act together, and he seems to be able to handle himself pretty good in a fight with the odds stacked against him.

Palmer has some bad intel about Halsey, and she’s about to find that out. In fact, she’s about to find out she doesn’t know anything.

Palmer,Halsey, and John:A severely awkward situation and will not end well.

The Grunt Overlord is forever undefeated.

I wouldnt be surprised if john steps in while palmer is trying to take down halsey. John has already been shown to not care if orders are given and they go against logic AND his feelings (ship captain deleting cortana).

I doubt that if John knew what was going on, he wouldnt let it stand.
