In the Warzone map Sactom Its is known to be a planet for elites and i wondered why are their marines shouldnt they be elites
I think it would be cool if they were elites equip with brute plasma rifle.

Might be interesting, but elites are bit harder to kill then marines and taking the temple if you lose it is a pretty daunting task as it is.
This was something someone brought up when the map first came out.
I think it was just time constraints, nobody saw it as a priority so they didn’t do it.
That’s why it’s important to give feedback for halo 6 now. if 343 is going to do stuff like this, they have plenty of time between now and halo 6.

Right. Temple is already hard to take once you lose it. While it would be cool to have elites, it would be unbalanced.
That would very likely break the balance of assaulting bases, fortresses, and core rooms. At the end of the day, Spartans are supposed to be the main threat in Warzone. If Elites guarded the rooms on Sanctum, it would unbalance the game by promoting defense over offense.

Because when the UNSC captures a base, they defend it with Marines, not aliens that likely still harbor hostility towards them.

True. Would be weird for elites to drop in after the UNSC takes it over.

Yeah, that makes the most sense. If you’re manning a UNSC military base on an alien world, you’re going to staff it with your Marines, and not another alien faction that you have a strained relationship with.

if the elites had no shields then it would be great.

Or maybe ELITE PLASMA RIFLES… (ahem ahem 343 wink wink)
Elites on your team would be awesome, was great in the campaign, but wish I could do it with my spartan online.

What would a bird be without its feathers? What would a butterfly be without its wings? What would an elite be without it’s shields or camo and Sword? If you take these basic parts of the creature do you also take away the identity of it?
