sangheli and breast feeding

Do the sangheli women breast feed and if so wth are thier -Yoink!- made of. Think about it four jaws with dog like teeth clamping down…shudders…

They’re Egg laying Reptilians… No!

Sangheili are not mammals, they’re saurian.

Sangheili don’t have mammary glands.

What they said.

That answers that question thanks. Curious though. I dont remeber reading they were hatched anyone have the source for this info so i can check the media where it originates? Have most of the books. I remeber elites regarding kig-yar as avian/reptilian before but no mention of sangheli hatchlings?

It’s mentioned in Halo: Broken Circle.

Chapter 1, Page 43

Ussa stopped at a warmer for brood eggs, lifted an egg up himself and placed it gently in a carrier - though this was normally a female’s work, a great leader sometimes did it as a sign of love for his people.

Damn sure is isnt it. Geuss i read it to quickly. Thank you for the professional accurate reply. Any one else know if it is mentioned anywhere else or is this the first

In Halo Bloodlines Reff 'Thasanee mentions that they were hatched.

Not every species can be a cool mammal.

I think food is chewed and regurgitated by the adults until the infants mandibles are strong enough to chew. We don’t know much about their physiology; maybe it’s Part bird, part reptile behavior. Hell they might even have special formula for sensitive carnivorous tummies. This is where Evan Phillips expertise comes in handy.

Issue 3 of Halo: Bloodlines

Sangheili are Dinos. Nuff Sed.

… sorry. Even about fictional extraterrestrials, one shouldn’t make such sweeping generalizations.
