Sangheili Prometheans

Why have I heard no one talking about the potential of this?! The Prometheans we know were made humans, but we haven’t determined what other races might make from teh same access to a composer. (Yes, the large composer was destroyed in Hal 4, however, who’s to say we didn’t see Elites composed prior to it’s destruction, alongside the fact that there are smaller composers as shown by the Halo Escalation comic… and since Halsey and Jul’Mdama have an inventory of where all the composers are… who’s to say that the zealots within the Storm Faction haven’t already made some of their exalted members convert from Flesh into metal?

This would DRASTICALLY increase the options for Promethean enemies, and I’m hoping 343 works on this!

Human and Forerunner Prometheans look exactly the same. I doubt Elites would look any different.

You know. This may make sense. I bet not all of the Covenant forces got off the Research station before the Didact composed it

If they add that, then I’m going hate them more then the Prometheans humans.

I thought of this before. I really want to fight a giant Promethean Elite.

Not how it works. The Composer eradicates their physical form and takes their “essence”, which is then put inside the Promethean war machines. Human and Forerunner Prometheans look exactly the same, so would Elites, or Prophets, or Grunts, or Brutes. Think of the original being (in this case, the Elite) as an" energy source" for a pre-manufactured combat drone (the Promethean). You’re taking that Elite and, for simplicity’s sake, converting it to “energy” for the Promethean. They wouldn’t look any different, and it’s quite plausible that some of the Prometheans in Halo 4 were actually made from Elites.

Because the Prometheans are not the Flood.

Well How else can we explain THIS! https://chiefcanuck.files.wordpress.com/2015/02/mega3-1496034d22af4cb79a4e38ceefc1261d.jpg?w=584
Even if that sangheili looking forerunner thing is not a promethean then maybe it’s just one of Jul’s covenant outfitted with Absolute record forerunner armor?

That actually could be the Didact in his “contained” form.

And this is a few fan-art concepts for Covenant composed essences, turned into Promethean warrior contructs:

Thank you for this. I actually am not fully aware of how the process works, and even though it’s disappointing to think we won’t see a different Promethean from the Covenant, I appreciate the knowledge more!

No problem man, always looking to spread a bit of Halo wisdom where I can. I do agree that it would be neat to see different Prometheans for different Composed enemies, but that’s just not how it works unfortunately.

Maybe we’ll see something like Jul’s Elites donning more Promeahean-esque armor or something, to distinguish them more from the Arbiter’s Elites. Though I think the Halo 4 “no sleeves” Elites were the design for Jul’s crew. Oh well, maybe as they get more and more involved with the Didact and the Forerunners, they’ll redesign their armor to be more similar. Never know.
