People are relentless, they do want the elites in. to be honest I was about top give up on halo 4, but I still hanging by a thread. (mytaphoricky speaking) Personaley I would be very happy if they were. after ll the whole point of games is playing as somehting your not. :slight_smile:

Poor logic, let me explain why.

What most people care about on these forums is balance and armor abilities. This is what most people talk about. But because of the nature of the topics, with more information coming out every few weeks that change the conversations in dynamic ways, it gets spread into hundreds of threads. If it were all kept in one thread, it’d be a convoluted and bloated mess.

Because the Sangheili community has only had one desire this entire time, and that’s playable Elites, one constant thread is all that’s been needed.

This thread isn’t large because of how large the outcry for playable Elites is. This thread is large because it’s been localized into one constant one, and because a dedicated 100 or so Elite fans keep posting and don’t let it die.

There are more people that will be happy with Elites gone than they would with playable Elites, it’s just most of them don’t visit 343 forums, and they’re pre-occupied with more pressing game mechanics than aesthetic differences that the Elite community can never get past. And even if they did, they don’t take the time to post asking for no Elites because it’s already confirmed they’re out.

If it were confirmed Elites would be playable, I can guarantee you the thread of rage asking for them to be taken out would be larger than this topic.

I imagine 343 realizes all this, hence why they aren’t paying attention to this little outcry.

343 will always pay attention to all topics and with how many months left, they could switch priorities to bring elites in. Granted your logic is sound for the msot part and I’m sure 343 has no intention to reverse course what has already been confirmed, but I’m not going to exclude the possibility just as easily. Till the game is out, nothing is set in stone and I mean nothing.

you said the people who would want elites out group would be larger, thats because ever since Reach, the Halo fans started dying and being replaced by pieces of -Yoink- who have only played Reach instead of any other Halo, also known as the -Yoink- the CoD community exiled. 343 Industries hasn’t even been listening to their fans either, unless its about armor abilities because thats easy for them to explain. Explaining that there wasn’t going to be Elites in MP would’ve been hard for them without their stupid gay -Yoink- -Yoink- MP story about a training simulation. 343 Industries isn’t listening to the fans who made Halo what it is, their just -Yoinking!- around and doing jack–Yoink-.

Don’t get sad! There’s always another Halo game. At least, the elites made their home in Halo 3.

I’m thinking, correct me if I’m wrong, that the majority of the people wanting AAs are the newer generation.
Having one big thread can be problematic, but so can having tons of mini threads flooding the forum.

That should be the priority for this fan base, aside from keeping Halo’s core, seeing as they’ve been removed from CMM.
Over 330 fans have signed and posted here; not to mention the anti-Elite fans and other supportive members.
I’m not letting it die because I want to fight for something I believe in.

I’ve gotten past it. I’d be ok, maybe not happy, with Sangheili being the way they were in Reach.
I most definitely participate in other threads. Whether if it’s about ideas, Core changes, additions… etc.
I try to be equally active in all types of threads here.

There’s no doubt in my mind that you’re right about this, however Sangheili have been in MM since Halo 2.
There’s no reason to take them out now.
It’s ridiculous that they aren’t at least replying. <.<

See, that is where the problem lies. People do not realise that the elites could be easily the same as the spartans. That means the same hitbox, same strenght, same everything. They would then have nothing to complain about.

And i know that if you kept to one singel thread it would be a mess, but i mean have specifinc threads for specifin things. Rather than creating 300+ threads discussing the same thing, put it all in one thread and be done with it.

Guilty as charged on the not letting it die part. I have gone, on numerious occasions, through sixteen pages of threads to keep this thing alive.

I know there are those whou would complain, but with a fixed hitbox so it is the same as the spartans, take the reach elites and scale them down to fit that hit box, who could complain? They couldnt. There would be literally nothing to complain about.

Like I said, all i want now is an explanation. I have come to accept the fact that elites are out of the game, though i will still fight for their return, but all i need is why. I just want to have one, solid reason besides this canon and or hitbox nonsense. Both of which i and many others have discussed numerous times over and over on this thread.
