Posting here about the Elites won’t do anything. They won’t put them in, and if you think they’ll listen, you are mistaken my friend.

I am part of the so called “elite community” you mentioned, but that doesn’t mean they belong in halo 4 multiplayer. why do I say this? for the same reason 343i is not putting them in it, it doesn’t fit the narrative of the game right now. does that mean they won’t be playable in halo 5-6, not at all. infact, I believe in this game, in many ways, they are setting up for telling a narrative of the elites, and perhaps even other factions of the covenant, becoming allies.
before you try to argue why Elites are essential to halo multiplayer, lets look at the narrative. Multiplayer, unlike previous halo games, is actually happening in real time, in halo 4’s story. it’s not a parrallel universe where infinite spartan II’s, despite no more then 3 remaining in the galaxy story wise, are randomly assigned on either the blue and red team and kill each other without meaning in some sort of blood bowl sport with no spectator. Halo 4’s “infinite” multiplayer is about you, a new breed of spartans, being tested in a simulator. It has more of a narrative like Assassins Creed Brotherhood Multiplayer did, except the character you create is presumably a character that will be fighting along side Master Chief in Halo 5.
now seeing as how the “UNSC Infinite” is a spartan 4 testing ground, where would an elite fall into play? it wouldn’t. so I feel it would be rather dissapointing to add Elites, despite the narrative saying they likely wouldn’t be part of a top secret training program for Spartan Rookies.
on a side note, I wouldn’t mind a reverse role mode, where you play as the elites in a Coop simulation against spartan 4’s, similar to invasion in Reach, but thats up to 343i.
anyway, just my two cents.

I beg to disagree, if you look at the previous pages there has been alot of arguments to show that it would be possible canonically to add them in MM, but I also think they should be added because a sci-fi story that only focuses on a human character can’ really be called sci-fi when you got a couple of alien races running around

not really, it doesn’t seem that another race would fit in:
-Forerunners: so similar to humans that it would be easier to simply add forerunner armor to Spartan’s in MM.
-Brutes: no point since they have a minor role in the story compared to elites and if the elites aren’t there, what is the point of them being there.
-Grunts: sefl-explanatory
-New enemy: maybe, but I think that the new enemy will probably be like the Onyx sentinel
so I doubt it + wouldn’t make sense in a “canon” multiplayer.
-rest of aliens and etc: not even wort explaining.
