> Definitely don’t regret it, since they’re not putting them in Infinite, lol. I appreciate the Elite armor, but still. It is pretty bad on their part to not have Elites in Infinite. But hey, they’ve got plenty of time to launch them after it releases, and the multiplayer is free. If Elites are playable after launch, then I’ll consider buying the campaign so I can support the company for listening (albeit very late)
Now that we know 343 haven’t forgotten us, it’s pretty safe to say IMO that we could get playable Elites in a future DLC. Getting piece by piece customization for Reach Elites would be cool as ever. For now, save up those point cubes.
Also, just because there are no Elites in Infinite right now doesn’t mean we can be jerks about it. We need to be civil.

Nah, I’m not the kind of person to harass them on Twitter. I just say my piece and don’t support that game that they messed up on. I’ll just continue playing Halo 3, especially with these AMAZING new armors. Would’ve loved to have been able to customize the shins and foot armor individually, but I’m totally cool with the added arm and leg customization. Definitely a happy Sangheili at the end of the day for sure.

This is very true. We need to keep speaking our voices, but we cannot scream and kick our feet. Like the Elites we pride ourselves to play, we have to be noble and tame in our discussion, but persistent and vigilant with our words.
Ok since 343 has pretty much gotten all the halo online content added to halo 3, i think the remaining seasons will have content added to halo 2/ 2a and halo reach. Maybe also finally get some banished skins for the brute weapons and vehicles and skins in halo 2a and reach.

I do hope Reach gets content. As much as I love these new Elite armours and am frivolously enjoying making new characters out of screenshots with them on the insider, it’s still Halo 3 which I’m sick of seeing get content. I would love on the other hand for Reach to get new armours and piece by piece Elite customisation
It’s actually so very nice to see some love being given to the elites, it actually gives me some kind of hope that we may get something in future for Halo INFINITE - the amount of people who will be rocking elites now is only going to increase! If there was one gripe I had with the new armours though?
No butt armour.

Banished content would be interesting. I am very curious to see what the pull out for the final seasons.

Not sure why they took away the Elite’s butt armor. Maybe they will fix it like when the Spartan’s feet had a chunk cut out.
Now we need piece by piece for Reach Elites, new H2A MP maps, it has so few, an H2A season would be neat, with new skins and armors, both for spartan and alites, there are the Halo 4 elite armor that can be added without too much work, and H2A spartans could get some Halo 4 armors too, like Mjolnir Mark 5, ODST, EOD, some of the more classicish Halo 4 sets.

From the videos I’ve watched it looks like the hip/butt armour remains only for the combat legs, but isn’t there for anything else; would be nice for it to not look so open and empty on the back. Also the armour covering the feet on the combat legs isn’t there for some reason, perhaps just a bug as is only in flighting for now.

There was talk of this a few months ago, it’s possible but they just haven’t implemented it yet.
I’m very excited for season 7 of mcc. I’m definitly rocking that Silent Shadow energy sword!!

It’s probably a bug. 343 please fix, I don’t want my Sangheili to be barefoot in multiplayer.
I had an idea, and I wanted to present it to y’all just to see how it goes. So basically, I feel that the H2A multiplayer Elites just make no sense. I’m not sure why they made a new model of Elite to play as in H2A, when the campaign models are clearly the best looking Elite (besides Halo Wars 2). I feel that the best thing to do, would be to swap the designs from the multiplayer Elites to the campaign Elites. Now, I did think about what they would do with the multiplayer models. Simple. Halo 4 doesn’t have playable Elites, but they could instead use the H2A multiplayer Elites to be the brand new playable Elites for Halo 4.
I know that seems like a lot of work, but it makes sense. That Elite design fits only with Halo 4 and 5, so why not have it be playable in Halo 4 and 5? Give the H2A Elites some random armors influenced by Halo 3, Halo Reach and Halo Online, and give the Halo 4 and 5 Elites the armors we see in the Halo 4 and 5 campaign. That’s just my opinion.

I absolutely agree, that does make the most sense and it would be the best option.
But I highly doubt it’ll happen. Even with all that being true I don’t think they would do something like that. They absolutely should, and it would truly make not just Halo 2A and 4 but all of MCC so much better, but it probably won’t happen. And honestly, I’d rather they focus on putting them into the next generation of Halo as opposed to Halo 4, as much as I want them there.
By the way, what I’m seeing with this S7 flight is that so many more people are playing as Elites- this to me is proof that people will play as them, when we’re actually given some damn content to work with. For the first time in my life I’m actually getting in games where most people are playing as Elites. It’s beautiful. I’m yet to get one where everyone is an Elite, but I’ve gotten close. So perhaps we could take it this way- maybe 343 is not only doing this to placate us or because they just happen to have Halo Online content to pump out, but to assess just how many people will play as Elites with enough incentive, to see if it is worth implementing in Infinite at an early stage. With that in mind, I implore everyone here to play as Elites as much as possible, even if you’re mainly a Spartan player, to help us out a little. I think with enough numbers, with the stats showing enough of us want them, there will certainly be good reason to put Elites in Infinite early. Maybe not at launch, but perhaps within the first year or so of its existence.

As much as the h2a campaign elites look way sexier than the multiplayer ones, I think its because it was just easier to use the halo 4 elites as a base model since its using halo 4’s engine.

I remember someone bringing it up a month or 2 ago. I would like brute weapon and vehicle skins like for the gravity hammer or chopper, but I too would rather have more customization options for halo 2/2a and reach. Heck what if we got elite armor variations like Spartans have, like having the halo 2 ranger face shield as a variant along side the normal eva looking one( since the halo 2a ranger helmets are just reach ranger helmets at the base with the halo 2 style face shield over it)

What’s funny is that as of late (After the Season 7 announcement), I’ve also seen waaaaaay more Elites online. I myself actually have been in a lobby or two with nothing but Elites, and it really did make me feel proud lmao. But yeah, I do agree with your MCC statements. It probably wouldn’t happen, but man I’d love it. Of course I’d prefer that they work hard on implementing Elites into Halo Infinite, but if they do come, it’ll probably be a year after the game releases most likely. They did say “never say never”, but eh. I see them focusing on even more ugly Spartan armor over Elites unfortunately, but we’ll see. They did give us Elite armor, so we’ll see how much they do care about this side of the community. Fingers crossed.
Also, they have to make so elites can wear back items, because the legendary shield was so hard to get, I’d rather not have lost 10 years of my life to not be allowed to wear it in the end.
Elite content at last! How wonderful! Is this a dream? Uh, although I do question the look of some of the sets. I thought I saw one helmet that made the Elite look like an ant or something…ah, but it doesn’t matter!
Seriously though, Elite content = 8 Energy Sword skins in 343’s collective mind(s). That is kind of funny, and I am just making a poor attempt at a joke.
And I wish I was in the flight so I could try it out early…

The Sword and Board isn’t a UNSC item, so Elites should definitely be able to wear it too, assuming 343 want to have different accessories for Spartans and Elites. Naturally, I would prefer it that way, BUT I am not at all opposed to a shared accessories system. I just think it would be a little odd for Elites to have, say, the UNSC’s Ammo Pack when they probably wouldn’t use the weapons that it contains ammo for, you know?
