We could get the regular combat nano suit, the 2 storm variants with and without sleeves, and for some creative ones maybe a vacuum sealed ranger suit or arbiter porous under armor. Heck I’d be down for back customization too, even if it’s just the same pieces as Spartans.

That’d be great, as for back customization, the ultimate thing would be to have them shared.

Tru pieces could be like how it was with reach armor abilities in which they’re accessible to both, but these are only cosmetic. I just want my Polanski for my elite fire fighter lol.

To a degree, some things like the techsuits and back accessories could be reused for Elites. I mean, it’s not like you can give Elites Spartan helmets, they wouldn’t fit. If you had a certain armor sets made to fit Elites that would work. I would live to see CQB reused for my Elite (if you imagine how it would look in my mind). THAT WOULD BE EPIC!!!

It wouldn’t even be that far fetched in lore either. Jega Rdomnai has Spartan shoulder plates, and Elites made an alliance with the UNSC. So who wouldn’t want a few Elites in MJOLNIR armor? They would have to tamper with it because the only reason Spartans could ware it is because of their injection, and most of the Spartan 2’s didn’t even survive the process, so who knows the side effects that could happen if you gave that injection to Elites.

While we’re on the topic of reusing Spartan armor for Elites, are there any Spartan armors you would want to have made for your Elite?

Oh I was just talking about back equipment being available to both lol, but I mean if they could make it work…

Oh ok. Sorry to change the subject then. If they ever do come to Halo Infinite, there could be certain armor coatings that could be shared. That Splinter Desert one would look sick on an Elite. I’m not too big on the Holy Ceremonial armor for Elites like the Zealot, or the Arbiter armor. Don’t get me wrong, those both look cool, but I prefer the high tech looking armor like the Ranger, Officer, and the Halo Infinite Minor. So Splinter Desert or the Watchdog armor coatings, would look awesome on any of these.

That’d be dope. I feel like it would work for the SOS if they return at some point since I feel like that’s what they were trying to do with them in halo 5 with the crimson- clay looking color scheme. I personally think some kind of forest green looking coating would look good too specially because of the environment of zeta halo. Maybe even carry over green combat harnesses for the SOS like the phantoms from halo 3 to differentiate them from the banished.

I would love to see the SOS return to Halo Infinite as allies like in Halo 3. One way you could differentiate them from the Banished is be adding an arrow above them indicating they are your allies. A color scheme like you suggested could also work. I always thought it would be cool if the SOS soldiers had the SOS insignia on their armor, like on their chest or helmet, similar to This. That mark on his chest would look epic as the SOS insignia.

Actually talking about elites wearing Mjolnir, as someone who loves Helioskrill, I’d love to see it comeback and have a playable Elite counterpart, where Spartans can wear an armore esigned to look like Arby’s and Elites can wear a harness that looks like Chief’s Mk6, I actually doodled helmets, I call it Artaxerxes.

Cool name! Artaxerxes! How does it look? If you can’t show it to me, please tell me if it resembles any armor there already is.

Combine those with all the old Elite armors from previous games, and the new Elite armors 343 would make, and you have a lot of Elite customization.

Don’t get me wrong, those both look cool, but I prefer the high tech looking armor like the Ranger, Officer, and the Halo Infinite Minor. So Splinter Desert or the Watchdog armor coatings, would look awesome on any of these.

I think the arrow thing was already done in halo 5, but the symbol thing would be really dope. Ways they could differentiate ranks besides color and maybe armor could be the size and color of the symbol. Minors could have a small blue SOS symbol om their chest, while field masters could have a large gold one on their helmet similar to the one on Jul M’damas.

Just think of the customization options in multiplayer too. You could have another variant of the armor that has the SOS or Banished symbol! (I would almost always have the Banished one).

My guy, how did I never think about that! It’s so simple yet so genius! I’ve never liked Helioskrill, Ive always been more into the bulky industrial looking designs like Mark 4 and 5. But I bet an Elite armor designed off of the Mark 6 or any of the “Mark” lineup would look awesome.

Dang bro I like!

Thanks.

At least now the customs browser is in MCC for a test until Monday. Last night I played some games and can easily say it’s the most fun I’ve had playing MCC without totally dominating the enemy team because I actually was able to play as my Sangheili Warrior alongside Spartans and other Sangheili in a multiplayer I can enjoy as the Forerunners intended. So capitalise on this before it goes away brothers and sisters, because by Monday it’s back to the old formula again until the next season. Provided it’s actually added in the next season.

This might seem a REALLY stupid question, but what does the custom game browser even do? I’ve tried looking it up but it seems no one has asked that question because apparently I’m the only person in the world who doesn’t know what it is. People have been telling me that its really fun, and I want to jump in, but I need to know what the heck it is.

It allows you to search for other people’s Custom Game lobbies and join them in MCC. They run on dedicated servers. It is being tested right now on MCC and will be going offline Monday so that 343 can determine whether or not it needs additional work before launching it permanently
