In Inside Infinite, when it was 2020 they asked 343 more about the customization. 343 replied that they wanted to keep SOME secrets. That could very well be playable elite cosmetics they are keeping secret.

It’s a lot easier just to Roleplay. You don’t necessarily have to play D&D. I have played halo Roleplaying, it’s pretty fun. And besides, I just prefer standard Roleplaying opposed to D&D. I don’t have a problem with D&D though.
The main reason I prefer standard over D&D is because D&D restricts you to only that universe. Then you can’t have Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, or Halo campaigns and I am much more interested in those.
It’s more than about time, and I cannot wait for the day we get a multiplayer trailer and at the last 20 seconds the Sangheili step in and charge alongside their Spartan brethren, on the blood of their fathers, on the blood of their sons, marching to glorious salvation, shoulder to shoulder, perhaps even with Jiralhanae alongside them too.

I do hope we do see them in Infinite. So far it speculating its kept secret. Hopefully we are seeing them. Though the suspense is having me abit concerned. Its only a matter of time before the game comes out.

Maybe because it’s like Duel welding. Maybe someone at 343 does like playable elites.
