The population that wants elites back has grown rapidly ever since halo 4, that’s been almost ten years now!

>
> Which brings me to another point. I hope they also integrate Elites into Reach matchmaking on MCC already, and bring back Invasion Slayer and Skirmish otherwise known as the best Reach game modes to ever exist. And why on Earth isn’t Versus on firefight matchmaking? It just makes sense for it to be.
Well I would love if they put elites in Reach’s multiplayer. Only problem is that most people would complain and argue with one another if 343 did. They would start yelling at 343 about not preserving what Bungie started. Sorry, but I don’t think it will ever happen.

Anyone who says all Elite players are bad players shouldn’t be taken seriously. I play as an Elite and I’m normally top of the leaderboard

I agree completely, I have come across many people who play as an elite and get well over 15 kills a match. (If you play halo as much as I do, your bound to find very good elite players.)
But however, I only play as an Elite in Halo 2 and 2A because in 2 Classic, Spartans have no customisation and look kinda boring, and in H2A, Elites look -yoink- badass. I don’t play as them in H3 because they look weird.

Simple: It’s THE thread for playable Sangheili in 343’s games. It’s become too large to be moved and to avoid too many threads about the same topic, all discussion about Playable Sangheili (or other species) are redirected here.

That’s were personal taste comes into play. I can see that you are someone who prefers the more bulky version of elites.
I myself like the halo 3 ones much better because I prefer the classic Bungie artstyle where the elites are more slim, though I do kinda like the newer elites that 343 made.
I’m not saying your opinion isn’t valid, it most certantly is, and I don’t want to start a fight. I just want to know your reasoning. Why do you like the H2 Anniversary more? And why do you think the halo 3 design is weird?

Dude, halo infinite’s Sangheili are my favorite so far… like H2A campaign Sangheili and halo reach… it’s awesome

I like every elite design. Me and XenobyteZX were talking about the Halo 2 Anniversary MULTIPLAYER design which is pretty much just the halo 4 elite. That design is good but I like the more slim elite design better such as the halo infinite design. You know, now that you mention it, the halo infinite elite design is REALLY good.

IKR? I love how it is a lot like the H2A with halo reach legs:P
Hey guys, I think it would be a good idea to include every elite helmet and armor piece into elite customazation.
For example, the Combat helmet from Halo Infinite is the standard variant, but there are three other variants. The Combat helmet from Halo 3, the Combat helmet from Halo Reach, and the Combat helmet from Halo 4. Except there are different variants for the shoulder and chest pieces too. They could also include all the other chestplates, shoulder plates, and knee guards from all the other games too.
Then we could have the ultimate customazation for elites! And that’s only the beginning! There are dozens of other armor pieces from halo 3, 4, and Reach!
Another example is the Ranger helmet. The standard could be the one from Halo Reach, then they could add different variants of the helmet such as Flight from Halo 3, the Ranger helmet from Halo 2, and the Storm class Ranger helmet from Halo 4.
The list of armor sets goes on. Spec Ops, Ascetic, Commando, Kaidon, Zealot, General, Field Marshal, Commander, Officer, Ultra, Warrior, Silent Shadow, Arbiter, Executer (From Halo Wars 2) And that’s only the tip of the iceburg when you think about all the new armors they would make! I know it’s a pipe dream, but a man can dream can’t he?
Do you guys think this is a good idea?

The day I get to rock Halo 5 Arbiter armour into battle is the day I ascend beyond mortal limits lol
For real though, I would love nothing more than the ability to charge into battle with the H5 Arbiter armour. I know people don’t like it much for whatever reason but it’s my favourite Arbiter armour of all and I’d love to see all Arbiter armours, like the rebreather one used by the Arbiter who Tamed the Lekgolo, and so on. The only problem is it would undoubtedly be made the most difficult and cumbersome task to get these armours and I may lose my mind on the way. But hey, it’s be worth it.

They day I can go into battle with H2A Arbiter Armor is the day I ascend beyond the mortal limits of man.
EDIT: I like the way the Kaidons armor appears in the H2A prologue thing. In H5, it was way too bulky and massive looking…

Every time new Infinite news drops, I find myself in this thread, digging for information about Elites or other playables in Halo Infinite’s multiplayer sandbox. I figured I would finally leave a comment to voice my support, as I realized I was definitely a lurker on this site.
I’ve remained hopeful about this idea ever since it was not implemented in Halo 4, and have been disappointed since.
343 has been very quiet about this specific topic (as far as I’ve been able to find), not confirming or denying playable species in Halo Infinite. I would love to see the return of Elites, or more playable creatures for that matter, to the sandbox of the game (in certain modes).
Elites in custom games would be awesome, at a minimum. Elites in certain matchmaking types would be even better. (Example, grifball, invasion, infection, etc). Everything else would be really nice but not expected due to the crazy amount of balancing and player angst 343 would have to deal with.
TLDR: Bring them back for the last game in the franchise. They could be used for new creative gamemodes, machinima creations, player shenanigans and more. For a game with “infinite” in the title, restricting players to Spartan models when we have had Spartans and Elites for so long would be a shame!

That’s why I play as one. So it’s more of a challenge.

Oh yeah, we’re much easier targets- bigger hitboxes (still unconvinced that our hitboxes are the same as Spartans in Halo 3) and the assumption that we’re worse players.
