When it comes to popular topics like this one, especially since this is considered important, they know to not anger the fans any further.
As someone who’s been posting here since 2015, it’s kinda clear that this is a very important part of Halo that should not be ignored. Once again, I am hoping that we will be getting a big surprise reveal- it just makes sense to me, but if they are planning on it, then they’re doing a real good job of making us have doubts so we can be blown away later.

You would think, but knowing 343i. I wouldn’t be so sure. They may go playable Brutes just to try something “New” that people will get pissed off about then they will probably use some dumb--Yoink!- excuse -_-
Just read the Infinite news blog, and the going on about wanting players to make their “dream Spartan” has me concerned elite players are about to get the boot again. Though they did also say they’re not done showing players what they can do in the customization, so maybe there’s still a glimmer of hope.

It does look like from the older trailers and game merchandise that Elites will have old armour as well, so that may be somthing in our favor.

Yeah I just did a youtube video on it and also mentioned how I was disappointed that I did not see anything about Elites. but it makes me thing that perhaps the large scale mode might be invasion. Revealing elites might be too big of a spoiler if Invasion is coming to the game? IDK that might just be wishful thinking.
I didn’t see any sign of playable elites in the multiplayer screenshots either. I really want playable elites back, honestly it’s probably one of the main things I want from this game.
It’s all good that the spartans classic armor style is returning, but not seeing any elites among the screenshots or no mention on them, makes me somewhat concern that 343i is still making the multiplayer “spartan only” Which is not a good look for the game in the coming future since there are many uses for the elites in multiplayer.
And because there is a 1000 page forum ranting about having them back since 2012.

I don’t get why they won’t add them back, I’d be happy even with them just in custom games. They add such a level of customization that so many people love including me…
nor do I. it seems like they are intent on ruching a fourth of halo player’s dreams.
P.S. 343I, my “Dream Spartan” is a dead Spartan. you kinda ruined halo, bring back playable Sangheili and I will love you… and make Arby main character…

they have had enough time to make playable Sangheili. 6 years (I am counting the months in 2021). they NEED to be at launch.

I remember a long while back they were asked about playable elites in Infinite and said they didn’t have anything to say at the moment, and I’m still trying to hold onto hope that it’s not a solid “no” means we may still get them. Ideally they should be at launch, but if Infinite is going with a ten year plan, there’s hope there.

Oh what I would give to start killing spartans again with my sangheli brothers and sisters. Were it so easy.
You just gave me a weird Idea that I’m not sure if I like it or not. Playable female Sangheili. like they have started to break their traditions and females start serving in the military or something. I mean being a female would barely change anything about looks but the height and slimness but it would be interesting to have that option and a female Sangheili voice.
