Sangheili (Elites) In New Trilogy Matchmaking (Part 1)

> Multiplayer doesn’t need a story, a pointless story about no one cares. I’m just tired of playing as a human like in Reach and any other games. Humans, humans, humans humans humans! Only humans. I’m sick of bloody humans, I want to play again as an elite like in Halo 2 and Halo 3, and the multiplayer there was the best, way better than Reach’s. The beauty of Halo is its simplicity and its original style, we just ask this 343i. Why do you have to make it like CoD? It makes no bloody sense. This is insanity! This will only make Halo fans become Halo haters. No old style Halo means riot or complete failure. Think about it 343i, we are numerous (not only space dinosaurs players like us, but also average Halo players) and we ask one simple thing, bring back the good old game style, there are lots of forum talking about this. Think about it 343i. Please, do the best thing, don’t ruin Halo.

Well I’m convinced.

How can there be Elites fighting on a UNSC ship?? Do you even understand the while idea of Halo Infinity?

> How can there be Elites fighting on a UNSC ship?? Do you even understand the while idea of Halo Infinity?

Do you even understand the idea of virtual reality?

> > Expecially in Halo 2 elites for me were the best, in Halo 3 they were a little worse but still good for an elite fan, oh and by the way, you should see them in Halo 4, they look everything but an elite, probably the body is ok, but the armor and the helmet are completely wrong, now they look like chickens without feathers with massive feet and feral, and this is absolutely insane because elites were always been more virile than humans.

We don’t know that, bro.

Yo quiero Shangeilis en Halo 4 !!!

I know a lot of people will disagree and then hate me for this ( which is sad honestly ) but if they limit the Elites again like they did in Reach ( no Elites in Matchmaking seriously??? ) i honestly don’t think i will get Halo 4. And people will also disagree and hate me for this ( which is also sad ) but i like the Elites a lot more then the Spartans…

> How can there be Elites fighting on a UNSC ship?? Do you even understand the while idea of Halo Infinity?

I assume ( THIS IS NOT!!! FACTS ) that the Elites would work for the Humans and help them rebuild all the worlds that they totally owned. Afterall Halo 4 takes place 5 years after 3 so it could be true…

Theres a thing called Halo: glasslands. you should check it out in a library

Does it really matter that much? No doubt they’ll keep the covenant weapons and vehicles, just look at the plasma grenade!

I was unaware those in a cult mutated their forms.

As far as we know, it could be them, but it could also be a group that got stranded on Requiem and have no idea the war ended. Last they heard, humans were still filthy animals that needed exterminating.

lol, you’re a bright one.

I’ve read the book, and I know who 'Telcam and the SoAT are. What I don’t know is whether or not the covies that the Chief encounters at the beginning of H4 (five years after glasslands) are the same guys, and neither do you.

Try to keep up.

> How can there be Elites fighting on a UNSC ship?? Do you even understand the while idea of Halo Infinity?

I heard that the Infinity Multiplayer is just a game type, addeed with Halo 2 and Halo 3 game types also (with maybe elites in them), this is what I hope.

Then why are they not equiped like standard covenent military. And why is the stern of the Forward unto dawn in the middle of a covenant fleet? Read game informer.

> How can there be Elites fighting on a UNSC ship?? Do you even understand the while idea of Halo Infinity?

Reasons it’s possible for Sangheili to be on the UNSC Infinity:
-5 years have past since the events of Halo 3.
-The Sangheili and Humans have an alliance, though it isn’t entirely stable.
-The S-IV’s training arena is a simulation.

This is just a hypothesis: probably those elite are Covenant pirates disinherited by their alliance, and they have a different equipment to distinguish them from regular Covenants, but I repeat: this is just a hypothesis.

> Then why are they not equiped like standard covenent military. And why is the stern of the Forward unto dawn in the middle of a covenant fleet? Read game informer.

There is no “standard covenant military” left in 2553… and this is five years after that. Five years of war if Glasslands and The Return tell us anything. The Sangheili have lost the Prophets and the Huragok. They have very little ability to maintain the former fighting forces of the Covenant.

There are two types of multiplayer in halo games. Cooperative and competitive. Co-op is Campaign, the new Spartan Ops and formerly Firefight. Competitive is everything where the goal is shooting other players. the GI article says that elites will not be in competitive MP. And Spartan Ops doesn’t seem like a name fit for elites…

Now, you could argue that forge doesn’t count as competitive, but it really doesn’t matter because they probably won’t be putting them just in forge.

Despair.

Strand 20 United States Marines on a different (habitable) planet with an array of gear for almost any situation. Leave them there, cut off from all supplies for about ten years, then come back and see what’s what. Things will break, and a lot of parts will need to be scavenged from other things they have around. They will NOT look like a formal military anymore, and likely have a massive grudge against you. Take a look at the Stranded in Gears of War, or pretty much anything from Fallout.

If that is true (only competitive multiplayer without elites) and other stuff similar to CoD for me Halo is dead.

Support. I miss playing as an Elite in regular matchmaking.

It mixes it up and allows me to be something other than a human for a change.

Their heads are too round, not circular enough, their jaws are just… wrong, and their skin is so pale, they look like they have a plague of some kind.
