Sangheili (Elites) In New Trilogy Matchmaking (Part 1)

Thats what i said. they had the forruner dread naught. but to tell you the truth… they had the tactic hit and run… if they didnt do that…then the prophets would be in for trouble

yes… Im a big fan of elites since halo 2, and ever since…ive been researching elites…

plus all of that was included in the limited edition of halo 3 that i have

> > um…elites were already teir 2 without the prophets… it is the contrary my friend…elites only got dummer after that.
> >
> > the prophets were smarter…to deal with forruner tech.
> > but i hope you know the assualt carrier was designed by elites
>
> Can you prove anything you just said?

The sangheili did reach space flight capabilities before their encounter with the san’shyuum. I think the Halo 3 Bestiarium said so, as well as a few other sources.

And Glasslands goes over a bit of the fact that the snagheili were eventually relieved of all their other concerns by the other races, leaving them to focus on military might. Since the logistics of war were being handled, they forgot how to do it themselves. The san’shyuum made each race dependent on them in order to keep control.

89 pages, almost 2,000 replies, and 30,000 looks later, 343i finally decided to say “No.” wait. whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!?

Yeah, the Bestiarium and the native Tier 2 thing. That doesn’t mean they were tier 2 before the Covenant by the way, because they essentially formed the Covenant. The Covenant would take on their characteristics, not the other way around. The Elites and Prophets essentially became one society, so advances would be received by both and as they were roughly the same technologically, there is no technological adoption either way. The Bestiarium even says on its second last page that both were tier 3 species before getting into Forerunner technology. The Halo Wars timeline states that the Covenant’s advanced weapons systems and propulsion are derived from shield worlds that the Covenant discovered. The Elite’s plasma sword and all their other plasma based weaponry is also based on Forerunner technology that they studied during their war with the Prophets.

It is also silly to imply that the Covenant were Tier 2 right at the beginning, becuase then it would imply, suddenly, no other advances since then. Do you mean to tell me that the Covenant made absolutely no advances whatsoever in its 3000 year history? Just suddenly stopped innovating abruptly upon the Writ of Union being made? So what exactly did they reverse engineer from Forerunner technology in that case if they were already tier 2, and why did the Covenant as an organization have such a poor understanding of this technology when they supposedly already developed it thousands of years ago, Prophets included? None of that makes any sense. Like I said, they were not tier 2.

San 'Shyuum and Sangheili were most definitely Tier 3 when they first met. (As you stated above)
The main reason they advanced so quickly was do to the Huragok.

What would be the fate of machinima without the Sangheili?

> exactly…
> Elites were a key point to the humans survival… other wise, how else would have they escaped the arc…or fought the covenant fleet guarding the arc

Or stopped Delta halo from firing…

I correct you: What would be the fate of Halo and Halo Machinimas without the Sangheili? I’m really disappoint and sad.

> What would be the fate of machinima without the Sangheili?

I can tell you this, it shan’t be pretty.

well looks like alot of dino lovers, like 40% of halo gamers are going to be really disappointed

343 Industries should listen to Halo fans. We want the good old Halos! Not Halo Reach style and expecially we want elites back in multiplayer! We just ask this, why don’t you do this for us 343i? Why?!?!?

Here Here my Sangheilian brothers! The Sangheili must make a return 343i they NEED to. I support this for the simple fact, the elites are one of halos biggest symbols and one of the biggest species in halo.

To be fair, 343i has to ultimately do what they feel is right for their game. If they listened to every small community on Halo, they wouldn’t be making the game that they envisioned and the quality would suffer for it.

Plus cowadoody halo warfare will so much better! You’ll see.

> Here Here my Sangheilian brothers!

Please don’t do that.

I truly wouldn’t be sad if I never saw another elite in Halo MP again. I hate playing as them and most of the Covenant weapons. Plus im pretty sure that they said that there is a reason red fights blue and it ties into campaign somehow or something like that.

I will gladly trade some unneeded multiplayer story for full integration of Elites in MM.

Multiplayer doesn’t need a story, a pointless story about no one cares. I’m just tired of playing as a human like in Reach and any other games. Humans, humans, humans humans humans! Only humans. I’m sick of bloody humans, I want to play again as an elite like in Halo 2 and Halo 3, and the multiplayer there was the best, way better than Reach’s. The beauty of Halo is its simplicity and its original style, we just ask this 343i. Why do you have to make it like CoD? It makes no bloody sense. This is insanity! This will only make Halo fans become Halo haters. No old style Halo means riot or complete failure. Think about it 343i, we are numerous (not only space dinosaurs players like us, but also average Halo players) and we ask one simple thing, bring back the good old game style, there are lots of forum talking about this. Think about it 343i. Please, do the best thing, don’t ruin Halo.

Nah. Elites looked pathetic in H2 and H3 (more so in H3). If they are the same design as in Reach. Don’t expect them to return in MM (outside of anything like invasion).

Expecially in Halo 2 elites for me were the best, in Halo 3 they were a little worse but still good for an elite fan, oh and by the way, you should see them in Halo 4, they look everything but an elite, probably the body is ok, but the armor and the helmet are completely wrong, now they look like chickens without feathers with massive feet and feral, and this is absolutely insane because elites were always been more virile than humans.

You relise that is a different cult of Elites right? The Neru Pe’ Odosima…but also knows as The Servants of the Abiding Truth
