They’ve been confirmed not to be in.

Now Ripa Xytranai Where did you hear this? you may want to add a quote or somehting.

What do I think? I think they deserve to be in every playlist.
We must keep waiting.

as long as they are like they were in Halo 3. when i heard about elites being larger but stronger in Reach, i was worried because i thought you could play as them whenever you wanted.
but yah, they need to be like in Halo 3, playable anywere, litterally no advantages. im tired of hearing people say it was unfair, no it wasnt, they had the same exact sized hitboxes as spartans, they just looked different. stop whining because you cant adjust to aiming a little lower when you see an elite, im a Spartan player and i had no problem headshoting elites. (But if Elites are playable in Halo 4, ill probobly be an elite player. Im more interested in them now. also if i ever go back to halo 3, ill be an elite.) but if brutes are playable, im for sure being them

Im sure the brutes are not playable
Maybe it will be something for achieving Halo 4’s version of Reach’s Inheritor? Or a special event or pre-order bonus.

Well see what happens.

Not to worry they won’t be it’s highly they won’t be. Just Elites.

I know, Much as the brutes are my seconed favorite race. still we must wait and see.
> Unless you had elevation, or your target was looking up, it was impossible to shoot an elite’s head from behind in Halo 2. They balanced them more in 3.
>
> And the only reason that it’s easier to kill an elite from the front (pre-Reach) is because the head is more in line with their shoulders. So if you miss your headshot, you have a better chance of still hitting them somewhere.

> Anyways, 343 should have totally put some elites in their ops missions. Admiral Hood demands that Parangosky allows 'Sraom, 'Taham and some nameless SpecWar Group sangheili to be a part of the Infinity strike teams. And the ship gets put on mission before open hostilities spring up again between humans and elites.

this is one of the best ideas ive seen here yet

Elites suck. GO HUMANS!
To get the hopes of Elite players up I have thought up something whilst I was driving around a bit, away from my keyboard.
So two things:
If Elites are really not playable at ALL in multiplayer, then perhaps its gonna follow the course of Halo 1 into Halo 2.
But the way I would see this as implementable is if Arbiter really does unite the Sangheili and Humans in an alliance and makes the Elites a playable allied character of the UNSC.
OOOOR
If there is a nice little change that will sate the tastes of the Elite players then I believe that Arbiter will have succeeded and we will get Elite allies (more than likely all in Halo 5)
> Elites suck. GO HUMANS!
Says the supporter of a race that was losing a 27 year long war with said Elites and their brothers in arms…in which, said race, only won because they had Halsey.
Halsey = Spartan Program = John 117, NOBLE team, and so on.
In the end, without John or the spartan’s in general, Humanity would have fallen shortly after Reach did and without the spartan’s, Reach wouldn’t have lasted long either.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a Spartan, all the way…buuuut without said Spartan’s, Humanity merely had an expiration date.
exactly…
Elites were a key point to the humans survival… other wise, how else would have they escaped the arc…or fought the covenant fleet guarding the arc

Usually your own efforts are a bragging right, and not the efforts of others. Without the technology the Prophets gave them, the Elites would not be a tier 2 civilization, and would not have the 3:1 advantage in space from that technology.
And the Spartans didn’t win the war exclusively. The UNSC was perfectly capable of operating without Spartans; they were perfectly capable of challenging and defeating the Covenant during ground engagements. The UNSC is not some damsel in distress waiting for a knight in green shining armor to rescue it; it had plans of its own, which actually went as far as finding a way to get operatives on board High Charity.
um…elites were already teir 2 without the prophets… it is the contrary my friend…elites only got dummer after that.
the prophets were smarter…to deal with forruner tech.
but i hope you know the assualt carrier was designed by elites

Not ENTIRELY True.
Going off of Halo Canon about this, YES, Elite’s had the Assault Carrier’s, but the Prophets had the biggest ship with the biggest firepower to outmatch them, plus were more knowledgeable in forerunner technology.
So in all right’s the Prophets uplifted them with superior armor and weaponry with the help of that ship PLUS the Engineers.

Can you prove anything you just said?
