I remember in H3, elites had both advantages (harder to hit back of their head) and disadvantages (more mass to hit). That’s why they were generally used more in SWAT than in other modes. With that said, I do miss elites.
Well here is a suggestion, why not have elites get their own matchmaking playlists? Or, Just keep them in social. since most people concerned about hit boxes or advantage will be spending more time playing on MLG playlists anyway, why not? It’s a win/win

Unless they do it like in Reach where the elites only had 2 gamemodes in matchmaking, then Im all for for it.

I’d prefer it like halo 3 where they were in everything though personally

As much as I want that too, Im not expecting it, though I don’t elites and and spartans should be playable together in swat, but perhaps elites could have their own swat?

In a perfect world, Project Chocolate Warthog could allow Elites to have a size customization option, one that both, allowed you to make your Elite one of the many sizes we’ve seen over the games, be it at least a few helmets taller than Spartans in Halo Reach, or just the size of Spartans like in Halo 3.
The size meter would allow you to have the size you’d like, but would prohibit you from entering competitive gamemodes unless you scaled it down to the size of a spartan.
Playing Invasion however, you could have him any size you want, allowing Elites to tower like they did before, or stay the same like they were proven to be in Halo Wars 2.
In a perfect world any Playable Elite Enthusiast would be able to play in any gamemode, and keep like they liked in every Halo game that has come to pass!
And I haven’t even gotten to underskin customization!
Can I ask, would you be satisfied, if you could have this, or would you just like the Halo 3 way, period?

Same here, I don’t want to play invasion or have to vote for elite slayer all the time only to come up short and stuck with the same Team BR/DMR playlist 90% of the time… Give Elites their own playlists which is what I think is the best resolve.
On top of that, those who just want a game of all Spartans can play the MLG playlists,
Besides its not much of a win/win if Elites have to be restricted to playlists that not everyone is going to be playing 24/7

I never thought of it that way… well, 343 were ever to implement something like that, I sure would like it, would I have choose it over H3? I don’t know honestly, but I’d vager; most likely.
I want playable elites. While your at it make brutes and forerunners playable as well

Hahaha that would be a stretch!
Elites are first in line.
Than they can probably make use of that blatantly uncreative design for the Promethean soldier, and turn it into a reason for the soldiers to be equal to Spartans.
For all those without context, I originally thought that the “Promethean Soldier” would’ve been a playable form of Promethean, due to the fact that it was literally a man with ears!
If their next years worth of development made the potential for a beautiful new forerunner enemy, which turned out to be just a Forerunner human, even worse than the knight, (because the Knight is awesome!) than that’s just so uncreative it hurts!
BUT if they were going to make Prometheans playable, than it would’ve been a perfect balance choice to allow people to play Prometheans in competitive mode.
we didn’t get that though
In Halo 6 i wish we play half time with Master Chief and fellow Spartans and other half with Arbiter and Swords of Sanghelios.Because there could be a lot of bad guys on the front if 343 includes Banished and/or the Flood together with Prometheans.

Better yet, have the arbiter face off whit Atriox, none of them would win, but either 1; They greviously wound eachother, or 2; Atriox kicks Arbys -Yoink-, just as he did whit red team, honestly I hope for the latter, make Atriox seem like a force of nature, as if nothing can stop him! That would be awesome. And in my opinion, Halo needs that kind of villain, especialy since -at least Im assuming, though I wouldn’t call it a stretch- the didact is not coming back any time soon, Jul’mdama is dead and Cortana… well…
Time for some extremely unrealistic wishful thinking! Seeing how 343 is finally fixing the mcc, and if by some miracle it’s player base doubles (similar to rainbow six siege’s playerbase), will any of you be moving back there since we have 3 games there that have playable elites?

Well, since the rest of the 360 versions of the games are back-compat, I myself would stay at H3 backwards compatible, unless they fix actual customization for the MCC, that together whit the 60fps would be sweet.

This is why 343 should do something similar to reach, elites only in customs and specific game types ie invasion

Brutes, Elites, and Spartans are probably a good set of three, but I’d like to add ODST’s into the mix to balance Covanent and UNSC playable characters as a suggestion.
Another suggestion to add on is Helmet-less customization as well. Kind of like ODST with the set character faces when you choose to play with a helmet or not, except for all 4. Thoughts?
And maybe a Flood firefight as well?

huh, I always thought they were like a weird combo.

Well you could also get rid of the “spartan” in the name. That way it can fit both classes.

Flood firefight would be amazing, that together whit Halo reach’s firefight voices.
Going even further, have both spartans and elites, I’d imagine my elite roar something like “Cursed abomenation”! Whilst spartans -though god forbid, H6 be T-for Teen- go “Sonova -Yoink-”! I may not play as a spartan, but still would find it rather boring if they’d just say “Target eliminated”.
