If you wanted a reason my fellow Forum dweller, Playing as an elite is an exhilarating stimulus of the mind that we hold as pride, knowing that we are a diversified part of the community, playing as the aliens are a -Yoinking!- awesome way to implement a feeling of diversity and, well, just flat out badassery!
I got this, because back when we played 10,000 custom games on Halo Reach, each one, I’d be an elite
The multiplayer was all spartans and that didn’t bother me, because every once in a while, I’d drag them to invasion, and sometimes they’d be in the mood for it!
It’s a pride, and it gives a feeling of role playing that being the same as everyone else, in the way of species, can’t give
No matter how many times I wear the Helioskrill Armour in Halo 5, I will never get my same interesting in being taller, and a bigger target, of course,
But being different!
A DIFFERENT kind of soldier!
We all love elites, and sometimes, it’s a gigantic turn off if multiplayer excludes that ability to play as an elite, when it was such a beautiful edition, and a widely used (Widely is a loose term) feature in the old games, Halo Reach being the newest, and controversially, the best iteration of Playable Elite Potential.
People will argue that we need the complex and needed armour customization of Halo 3 in the Elites.
People Will Argue that we need a balance between wanting to be bigger than Spartans, like in Halo Reach, or as tall, like in Halo 3.
And even People like me will argue that customization passed armour would be widely loved, like being able to play different Phenotypes of Elites, the new desert scaly type, as well as the black leather types from Halo Reach and 3.
So, I don’t like leaving people out, we should all be able to customize our armours how we want, and play at which height would weren’t unsuitable for competitive play, or just good enough for Invasion.
Playable Elites are pride of knowing that we are different, that we get to play as a badass species that isn’t humanity and spartan armour, and, perhaps the most important part I haven’t mentioned yet.
It’ll show that 343 is listening
Does that answer your question?
