I don’t think anyone has liked any of the new features that have been announced besides Spartan Ops.
Removal of elites = bad
Random Weapon Drops = bad
Insta Respawns = bad
Unlockable stuff = bad

weapon drops have been explained and it sounds good, still waiting for the rest before making an opinion

i know what youre saying, i wasnt expecting them to say elites will be in mm, anytime soon. I felt they were going to keep it a secret, of course, i was wrong and they announced elites wont be in competitive mm. hopefully, its not like Reach were everything is “Competitive”

yes changes can happen, but 80% of the time, when its in Gameinformer, anymore changes will not be extreme. And making Elites playable is an EXTREME change

Just using multiplayer refers to all the online activities. Including campaign co-op and Spartan Ops. Competitive is being used to refer to matchmaking and customs, which are all competitive by their very nature.
I wouldn’t latch on to that one word out of hope. Sangheili aren’t playable. Time to sob into tubs of ice cream.

I know just using multiplayer would refer to all activities. I was pointing out they DIDN’T say anything about all multiplayer.
And Custom Games? Competitive? No. Just no.

Because your argument doesn’t make any sense. The Spartan IV’s have never been seen before, 343i could make them just as tall as an Elite, so that they didn’t have to be hunched over. Problem solved, just like that. Now the hit-boxes are exactly the same.

The irony in your post is palatable. I suppose you missed the part where I pointed out that we’ve never seen a Spartan IV, nor do we know what changes may have been made to the process. Yes, no Spartan program in the past has ever created anyone as tall as an Elite.

Because Halo Multiplayer has always been fully cannon. Bungie and 343 have never ever pulled anything out of nowhere and called it cannon.

The reason you were “flamed monstrously” was because Bungie catered to you guys (Spartan fans) the entirety of their control over Halo. It was always unfair. Now 343 are catering to you aswell.

Master Chief is 6 foot 10 according to Halo Wikia, Sangheili 8 foot 6.
There’s no way MC in cryo could grow another foot or more. The passion in this thread makes my day but the removal of Elites makes my week.

This is stupid. In the original game no one complained you couldn’t play as an elite. In the second game no one complained you couldn’t play as an Elite. In the third game Bungie made Elites the exact same as spartans except the hit detection on the player model was terrible. In Reach, they made Elites realistic and therefore made them unusable in most game types.
At this point, being an elite is pointless. Within the story we know right now, it doesn’t make any sense as well.
Spartans will always be “catered” to because the main character of the game is a spartan. Get over it.
