Sangheili (Elites) In New Trilogy Matchmaking (Part 1)

And please dont forget to include the Heretic Elites Armor, I mean dont even spare 1 kind of armor/helmet/gauntlet/boots/shoulder pads etc design bungie and 343 made. Personally i think 343 can even include the “Spade” helmet of the elites in Halo CE. But please dont make them too big like in H4 or H5. theyre size in H2A is perfect for PVP since theyre almost the same size as a spartan.

Let’s hope so, or else all of my work would have been for nothing.

> Of course we’d all prefer that art style, but we’re also taking Reach into consideration. My personal preference for playable Elites would go down like this, and brace yourself lmao: Of course, the Elites would have the H2A design, however they need bigger toes. Like, Reach style. Since they’re quite a bit bigger than Spartans, it would make sense that they have larger hitboxes, so simply increase health and speed to give is Elites a fair shake. The Elites need fair customization. When I say that, I mean they deserve the same range of customization options that the Spartans had in Reach instead of just changing out whole armor sets, so we’d be able to change out heads, shoulders, torsos, legs, and forearms. Playable Elites should OBVIOUSLY have their own unique assassinations, but I’m thinking they should get this one exclusive ability. Dual wielding energy swords. Elite fans like myself would lose their minds if we were to get that option. It wouldn’t increase damage, just the “fire rate”, so to speak. Last, but not least, though this is probably asking for the most lmao, let’s get some female Elites in here. We’ve only heard one in Halo 5, so let the female Elite lovers play as their gender, why not? :).

That all sounds incredible, and the “Bigger toes” Idea I get. In Reach, they were bulkier elites, but not as bulky as Halo: 4 or 5. The dual-wielding energy swords sound awesome, and I think Elites should be able to dual wield more weapons just because they are Bigger and therefore stronger. The hit boxes sounds like a good idea, but when people have 80% accuracy, hit boxes don’t matter anymore. More health would be a good idea, but it would have to be subtle.

Boi the armor customization for just Spartans I want so bad. I actually did like how Halo: 4’s armor unlock worked, and hopefully it could be like that with Spartans and Elites.

Female elites sound great! Lmao I think more guys would play female elites than girls

Lmao true that, guys would totally play as female Elites too. And yeah, Halo 4’s armor system was pretty good too.

Both Spartans and Elites are strong enough to dual wield any weapon and Elites in Halo 2 hold rifles with one hand on vehicles.

And remember the very last moment of the intro cutscene of Delta Halo, MC dual wielding SMG and rocket launcher, both species can flip a 66 tons main battle tank also.

We know they can, of course, but having dual world blades on an Elite makes the most sense, due to the fact that it symbolizes how experienced and trained the Elites were to be granted the ability to dual wield energy swords. Seeing a Spartan dual wield the blades means that they just picked them up, and it doesn’t really fit well.

> EDIT : also I guess Spartans can’t move shortly after hitting the ground, Elites wouldn’t have that issue since failing to perform a ground pound would just result in a melee being thrown in the air, they wouldn’t have an area of effect either, it’s a kill or nothing at all.

Wait what?! They did?! Since when, that’s not just funny, that changes everything!
That shuts down the argument that it’s impossible to integrate them with what competitive scene we have in Halo.
If this is an old subject, I’m sorry, but this is gold!
Like, do you know if they did it all specifically in the manner of the vision that was needed? W-wha… Than why aren’t there Playable Elites in the new Games?
Not enough time is a valid excuse for Halo 5, but, Halo 4 was their big head honcho, is it because they were no longer allies? Come on, that’s no excuse when Reach was literally a game that was built around the two factions being enemies, that’s how we got “Invasion”!
Why didn’t they think it wouldn’t be as important as Spartan combat?

Yeah we can hope for all that work, but about the size issue.
I know you take no credit for it, but Project Chocolate-Warthog was something special!
Something that would please everyone! And by everyone I mean people who want Elites, but not just elites, elites that we have seen presented in all the games so that they wouldn’t miss even a drop of potential controversy that would arise when giving us playable elites. Like the one about their size!
“Why didn’t 343 make playable elites in the Reach Method?”
“Why didn’t 343 make playable elites in the Halo 3 method?”
The size adjuster is the solution! It wouldn’t even be an indepth size adjuster, you know that would take ages to make, but maybe just slew of sizes that could go to a maximum.
But anything above the size of a spartan wouldn’t be allowed in competitive, the “Perfect size” if you will.
And than, allowing people to use that “Perfect size” as well as the ability to increase the height to the maximum of what we saw in Reach, the Appropriate Elite size, even 4 and or 5!
The reason why I want to avoid these controversies is because there are communities inside the Elite Community, and I advocate the ones that enjoyed the Reach method of Elites being their towering size, giving the power that I yearn for in the playable elite Archive!

Anything above this is the extended category that we had in mind, ones that would be just add-ons or customization unlocks or even DLC.
The way Spartans have Undersuits, the allowance both the new beige, scaly Elite phenotype, as well as the jet black, leathery phenotype that we had in the old games.
And even the allowance of Elites having undersuits symbolizing core designs like the Swords of Sanghelios, or even Jul M’dama’s Storm, the possibilities are endless, and there’s no stopping the ability for undersuits across the map of both Spartans and Elites!
Again, that’s the extended category though, Armour and size are some of the most important.

I just thought of something: The Swords of Sanghelios were seen onboard the Infinity in Halo 5. This means that canonically the Elites could have participated in simulations. This means that 343i’s “canonical, War Games” argument is invalid.

Exactly. I’ve said this back to back in my head. They’ve got time now, so there’s no reason why Elites can’t make it into Halo 6.

I don’t believe 343 was ever using that as an argument, especially when considering the fact that they have said that Anvil Station is a canon location where Spartan IV’s and Members of the Swords of Sanghelios train together.

It’s been for a while and I can’t see for the love of me why people defend it with that fact. It is in the lore that Spartans trained with Elites in War Games.
That doesn’t mean they can’t play this role of something like “Invasion”
Invasion is a perfect test for Spartans to have the ability to fight elites, or for that matter, species on their level of anatomy (Two arms, Two Legs).
If Elites are included, even more so, not as important as Spartans, but practicing the art of killing your enemies is important enough.
There is no canonical reason that contradicts the idea of having playable elites in War Games.
Playable Prometheans is a different story but I’m sure there could be reasoning for them too, similar to that of Halo Reach’s idea of a clear enemy such as Elites, and they were playable anyway.

No not 343, we mean fans who disregard playable Elites. That’s their main argument, and It’s ridiculously invalid when there’s canon material showing Swords of Sanghelios and Spartans training together.

Oh yea, this was all the rage for a while.

I absolutely love the way they brought us in at the end, they definitely did us a service no doubt.

A lot of people though would like to see the elite armor touched up a little though.

First off, grow up. Don’t have to be a total a**. And 2nd, if you didn’t notice that Halo 5 is made for"Competitive" Gameplay. Not social. For Christ sakes they have almost 300 armors in the game.

And Halo 5’s Multiplayer is within canon. If you read the description of the old Helmets, and notice everything is in a simulation, it’s gonna be mostly Spartans. (But Elites and Spartans trained together.) Only a small portion, and I’m sure when the Arbiter said, get yo a** back to Sanghelios to fight this war, they left.

People don’t care that their hitbox is bigger while they’re playing as an Elite. Thats one of the biggest things, it’s our play style. I assume that flew over your head.

I “assume” my point flew over your head, It doesn’t matter if you yourself don’t care, others do, that was the point or else it wouldn’t get brought up so much. You may like to be at a disadvantage, others don’t, and others don’t like to use that advantage vs others regardless if one chooses to do so or not.
