Surely once he sees the arbiter and how he treats his elites he might change his mind, From my perspective it doesn’t look like hes enjoying his time with Atriox.
But we will just have to see on what kinda Sangheili he is.

And i agree what you said about the style of the two factions.

Yeah, we didn’t get much screen time of him, but the problem is that he holds disdain for the Arbiter’s attempts at peace with Humanity.

Seeing this thread still going strong, hoping 343 will listen. Even some YouTubers have promoted #BringBackElites I miss playing as Sangheili, and miss how Halo used to be. Don’t find it fun anymore cause of the big change it took in Halo 5. I believe 343 can fix these problems, and make a good game, but they need to understand that the changes that were made weren’t good.

Hopefully they’ve had even time, and Microsoft is letting them do what they need to do to make a good game. Bring back the Elites, they are missed by tons of Halo Fans. Even some people who’s first Halo game is Halo 5 wants to play as them, cause they think it’d be cool.

I’m with you on that, 343 should bring back playable elites. I have been playing as elites from Halo 2 in 2004 to Halo Reach in 2010. I’ve have been waiting a long time for 343 to bring them back. However what I’ve been hearing from some players is that playable elites messes up the multiplayer, but I don’t care. #BringBackElites!!!

Perhaps you could consider this a two-month grudge, but I was just scrolling through the good ol’ Halo Bulletin and happened to come across this information and I thought of your post. So, here is a little bit of proof that the different subspecies of Sangheili seen are indeed different subspecies and the variety is Canon. Click this hyperlink and scroll down to the second question asked.

I think 343i is learning, to an extent. They know that halo 4 forge was crap, so Bam best forge in the series. Then again, Halo 4 campaign was decent. But then halo 5 is the kid who sits by himself. Whe have made 343 listen to us, Hw2 art stlyes in 6, splitscreen, so it is unlikely that we wont have elites. Howvever , we may have a trade off for it. Such as server issues, not enough customization, or wired hitboxes as in halo 3 in swat. So I think we should make sure the dont make the same. Mistakes. It takes something bad to make something great

Again, that was 343 giving a canon explanation for the differences that Bungie didn’t necessarily intend, with the exception of the Jackals/Skirmishers difference in Reach which was pretty clear, involved distinct gameplay differences, and were both in the same game so was not down to simple artistic choices.

While I don’t mind them trying to explain away the significant visual differences between games, there are simply way too many loose ends they just can’t pass off as “oh that’s a different phenotype”. I mean, every single member of a species seen in a single game being of the same phenotype when there are supposedly many variants now is rather silly. Where did all the old ones we just saw in the same ares go then? Sure, the Sangheili in Halo 4/some of 5 may be from that colony I forget the name of. Alright, but every single one in both games? And we don’t see any of the old Grunts or Skirmishers anymore? It’s just too messy for my liking.

Well, the thing about there only being one subspecies seen throughout one game is just due to time constraints and lack of resources. Maybe as technology gets a little more advanced and Microsoft loosens their grip on 343 a little, we could have a more ideal game with more models showing this genetic variety. Also, the T’vaoan (Skirmishers) saw excessive use during the Fall of Reach. Their subspecies survived, but their numbers were completely diminished.

Another thing I would like to add from my last post is sangheili is what motivate me to come back to play.

I KNEW IT! I knew the hitboxes were not the issue, it was all in the heads of the players.

I like the Elite sin un-ranked slayer and so on. Good choice here.

Playable elites and invasion better be in halo 6

Yep, let’s hope it stays that way, it might be due to that Halo Wars 2 came out I think and seeing the Elites in Halo 2A looks.

The h2a elites looked awful in my opinion

Intresting, why do you think that?

(My personal favorites are original H2)

I like the original H2 way better, the h2a elites armor was too rounded, their feet looked entirely different, and the whole head just… It looked horrible

yeah the h2a elites looked really weird, honestly a lot of the h2a armours looked weird in general.

I don’t understand why you say that, they look a lot better to me.
